Varian's POV:
"Alright, no need to panic! We'll get the totem back!" I said to myself "somehow..."
"Then we'll move on like that didn't just happen!"
"Uh, Var" Ellie got my attention "you're.. talking to yourself"
"Right, sorry" i said.
"Don't worry so much, we'll figure this out" she said, putting a hand on my shoulder.
I nodded.
Just then, we reached Prometheus.
"Let's go-"
"Hey! Guys!"
I looked over my shoulder.
"Wait for me!" Yong ran over to us.
"Yong? What are you doing?" I asked.
"Coming with you!" He said.
"Yong, this isn't really a group mission" i said.
"But you brought Ellie with you" he said.
"She followed me, to be completely honest, this was gonna be a solo mission" i said.
"Please?" He asked.
"Did you even ask your parents?" I asked.
"They won't care" he said.
"Yong, you can't go sneaking off, you're going to worry them" Ellie said.
"They're to busy with my brothers" he said.
"Well... you need their approval before trying to leave"
Then, Yong led us to his house.
Though, it looked more like a temple.
"Mom!" Yong called out "can i go to find a magic library with my friends!?"
"Magic what?" A woman walked into the room.
"Magic library" Yong said.
"If you can do your chores first" she told him.
"Why can't one of my brothers do it!?" Yong asked.
"That's not their job" his mom said.
"We can help, Yong" Ellie said.
"Really?"
"Yeah" i said "then we can go catch that totem theif!"
"Thanks guys" Yong said.
"What's the job?" I asked.
Later
So apparently, Yong's parents have a 'creepy' shrine behind their house.
At least that's what Yong told us.
And he apparently has to clean it but he's been avoiding it because it's creepy.
"We're here" Yong said.
We looked around the area.
"It's a bunch of statues" Ellie whispered.
"Yeah, but they kinda creep me out" Yong said.
He handed each of us a broom and we got to cleaning.
"This won't be so bad" i said.
"Maybe your right" Yong said.
Ruddiger looked around the temple as we cleaned.
Out of the corner of my eye i saw him bump into an animal statue.
Before there was time for any of us to react he started running around.
He started running under our feet and getting in the way.
"Woah! Ru-Ruddiger! Calm down!" I said.
Then he bumped into a table and knocked something onto the floor.
"No no no!" Yong yelled.
Suddenly there was a crash as whatever had fallen broke.
"No no no!" Yong ran over and picked up the pieces "my aunt made this, what am i gonna tell mom!?"
I looked over at Ruddiger who shrugged and gave me an awkward smile.
"It's not that bad!" Ellie said "i have something in my bag"
She pulled out a solution and used it to glue the pieces back together.
"There" she said "good as new"
We put it back where it was.
"Time to go" Yong said.
We then went back to start heading out.
"Bye mom!" Yong yelled as we left before following after us.
Hugo's POV: (new POV? Yes)
"I'm home~" i said as i hopped off my horse.
"You're late" Cyrus said.
"Gimme a break, Cy, the fire kingdom is like 40 miles away" i said.
"Is Donella in?" I asked.
"Yeah, be careful, she's in a terrible mood" he warned me.
"When is that woman ever in a good mood!?" I asked
I went to her room and walked right in.
"Hey Don! I got the thing!" I said.
"Let me see" she snatched it from my hands.
I watched as a smile formed on her face "perfect, one down, six to go"
Wait
"Six!?" I asked.
"Yes, the next is in the water kingdom" she said.
"Why didn't you tell me!? At this rate Blue Streak and his little friends are gonna beat me to it!" I said.
"Who?" Donella asked.
"Some kid with a blue streak in his hair, he had some kind of alchemy belt so he was probably an alchemy user" i explained.
She said something under her breath.
"He had friends with him too, some kid from the kingdom that was armed with fireworks and a girl about his age with blonde hair, probably his girlfriend or something, i don't know"
Donella angerly set the totem down next to her.
"That's impossible" she said quietly.
"Geez, you act as if people researching ancient artifacts is completely unheard of" i said.
"Hugo" she glared at me.
"I'm gonna stop talking now!" I said quickly
Then her tone changed "it's time i tell you what it is you're searching for... and who you're up against"
(realized that without context it seems like Varian and Ellie just kidnapped Yong so i really needed to fix that XD)
