Chapter 14 - He killed them?

"Didn't sleep a wink... even though I'm 26. How do I explain this to Mikey?" Takemichi thought out loud as he walked. "Hey! C'Mere!" an unknown voice yelled. "Pop a squat" He said. 'What? Who's that scary dude? He's
totally up to no good. He's beat to hell
too. Just ignore him.' Takemichi said to himself. "Yesterday was a total disaster for us both us huh? Baji's a total badass isn't he?" The beaten up boy said, catching Takemichi's attention. "You were Baji's friend?" Takemichi asked. "Tokyo Manji Gang. First Division
Vice-Captain. Matsuno Chifuyu." He introduced himself. "You're the guy Baji beat to a pulp!" Takemichi yelled.

"I got beat up so he could join Valhalla, Baji didn't join Valhalla to destroy Toman. Baji has got something else is mind." explained Chifuyu. "What are you talking about?" "Baji joined Valhalla so he could get at Kisaki!" Chifuyu explained.

You and Mikey were at the Sano family grave paying your respects. "y/n." Mikey spoke up, causing you to turn towards him. "I don't think you should be a part of our fight against Valhalla." he said, surprising you. "Why not? I've been a part of all of our fights. I want to be there." you said. He stayed silent as if thinking of what to say. "I..." he started. "I don't want you to get hurt." he finally got out. His sudden concern shocked you. So he really meant what he said about wanting to put in effort to be friends? You weren't sure if you were happy about his newfound concern or upset that he thought you couldn't protect yourself, either way you wanted to take part in the fight.

You stepped towards him and looked him in the eyes. He was blushing a bit from the closeness of you two but was trying his hardest to brush it off. You took a final step forward and hugged him. "Thank you, Manjiro. For worrying, but I promise I can protect myself. I want to be there for everyone, and I want to be there to beat the shit out of Baji for leaving us." You chuckled at the last part. He was fully red now, with you being so close to him. Slowly but surely, he brought his hands up to hug you back. He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding in. "If you really want to come fight then okay. I respect your decision." He pulled away to look at you. "But if you get injured, I'll have no choice but the beat you myself!" He joked. You laughed at his new behaviors towards you, which cause his heart to yet again skip. He loved your laughter and smile and was happy that they were finally being caused by him.

Little did the pair know, they had an audience. Chifuyu cleared his throat causing you and Mikey to turn around and look in his and Takemichi's direction. Takemichi explained what happened with Baji and Kazutora. "I see. So you heard about my older
brother." Mikey spoke "Shin was an awesome guy" you added. "Yeah. Takemitchy. We know that past incident can't be undone. Baji and
Kazutora didn't intend for that to happen." Mikey said. "It's too late to change what happened. I know that. But deep down my heart can't accept it. The CB250T that Baji and Kazutora were trying to steal was the one my brother rode. It was supposed to be my birthday present. That CB250T's a memento from my brother. Now, It's my beloved ride." Mikey explained to the blonde. "It's been two years since then. I've forgiven Baji. But I can't forgive Kazutora for killing my brother. And I can't forgive Baji for siding with him either! Takemitchy, I told you to bring Baji back
didn't I?  So why are you here with the first division vice captain? What do you want to accomplish Takemitchy?" Mikey asked.

"I want to become the top guy of Toman! I'll make you see Mikey! That I deserve it!" Takemitchy declared. "That guy...what an idiot." Mikey chuckled. "Yeah" you laughed along.

So Takemichi and Chifuyu become
partners, and now they are gonna help
each other out with what they want to do.
They then go and meet Osanai. "I beat up anyone I didn't like. Nobody could go up against me. Before I knew, I was alone. That's when Kisaki approached me. Weird as it sounds, when I did whatever Kisaki told
me, everything went smoothly. In just a year.I went from some punk who was only good at fighting to the guy in charge of Shinjuku." Osanai explained. "So, Kisaki was your confidant?" asked Chifuyu. "I was nothing but a stepping stone to Kisaki. I learned that during the fight in the warehouse. That fight was all arranged by Kisaki in the first place. Kisaki drove Pah into a corner, creating a reason for Toman's infighting. Then Kisaki made it all my fault! He approached Mikey, saying he didn't like how I did things. Then
he said he'd get Pah pardoned to curry Mikey's favor. Kisaki's plan with the fight at the warehouse and the festival, was to use the fight to get Draken and y/n killed, so he could take their places as Mikey's right hand. Kisaki left me behind. His new weapon is Hanma Shuji. He's the kind of guy who can make plans to kill people without getting his hands dirty. If I mess with him, there's no telling what could happen." Osanai finished. Takemichi and Chifuyu's eyes widened.

2017

"Thanks for putting up with my request Naoto." said Takemichi  "I'm used to it. Happens all the time." he replied.

"Takemitchy. You're here again?"
"Sorry to keep bothering you Draken."
"Didn't I tell you to leave Tokyo?" he said worriedly.
"I just wanna ask you one thing. Do you remember that one biker gang from 2005, the one without a leader, Valhalla? Wasn't the leader... Kisaki Tetta?" he asked.
"No, he wasn't"
"Huh?'
"The Headless Angel's leader was Mikey."
"Huh!?"
"Valhalla was a gang created for Mikey to
lead."
"But that, that's impossible! Mikey's Toman's commander!"
"Impossible? You remember too don't you?Twelve years ago, on Bloody Halloween, Valhalla took over Toman. Valhalla, as the Parent Organization, creating a New Tokyo Manji Gang. That's the one that exists today." explained Draken.
"Could that have been, the day of Toman and Valhalla's Big Battle?" asked Takemichi.
"Yes. That day. Toman suffered its first loss"
"What?! Toman Lost?! How could they lose with the 'Invincible Mikey', you, and y/n on their side?" Takemichi asked.
"It's Mikey's fault that Toman Lost"
"Mikey's fault?"
"That day. Why didn't I realize? Mikey who had
an enormous cross to bear? On that day, Mikey killed Kazutora."
"What?!" Takemichi exclaimed.
"Mikey didn't get arrested. Because Kisaki had
a decoy prepared. Mikey fell into darkness.
Valhalla took over Toman. With Mikey as the
Leader, and Kisaki as the acting leader. They grew into a huge organization. Thinking back on it now, Kisaki joined Toman... because he had his sights set on Mikey from the start." Draken stated.
"Wait just a minute. Mikey killed Kazutora? No. Mikey would never kill someone!"
"If you were in Mikey's position back then... you think you could've stopped yourself from killing Kazutora? The guy who killed Mikey's
brother? And... That day... Kazutora killed Baji and y/n!" Draken yelled.
"What?! Kazutora killed them?"
"Takemitchy. You saw it too, didn't you?
Mikey was already going though a lot beforehand, he was already in pain. Nobody
could stop Mikey that day." He explained. Takemichi thanked Draken for the information and went on their way.

"After talking to Draken, I could see it in my mind. What happened that day! I don't know why it happened. But my mind just overflowed with memories I shouldn't have! Baji, lying on the ground. Kazutora. y/n coughing blood. Mikey covered in blood. I can't tell if all of it's real, but, Mikey looked so broken, so lost, so
empty!"

"I have to save them! Mikey. Kazutora. y/n. and Baji."

"The 'Bloody Halloween' conflict ended in
Toman's defeat. They lost becasue Mikey killed Hanemiya Kazutora. And Kisaki Plotted
it all. Mikey killed Kazutora because Kazutora killed Baji and y/n. In that case i'll save Baji and y/n. If I do that, I can stop Mikey from making a big mistake!" Takemichi explained to Naoto. "You'll put a stop to Kisaki's Plans! Protect Baji Keisuke and y/n l/n! That's your latest mission." Naoto replied.
