"Y-yours?"
I questioned, my chest rising and falling faster again.
"You mean...It's actually true?"
I proceeded, my eye brows furring together.
"Depends what your talking about"
His smirk remained. His fingers tracing patterns on my forearm.
"You know what i'm talking about Riddle"
The worry in my tone displayed how unsettled this made me.
Let me explain...

"You know about that Riddle Charm thing right?"
Draco scoffed, laughing at Pansy being unaware of what he was on about. To be honest, i had no idea what he was talking about either, i just pretended to understand.
"N-no?"
She muttered, confusion in her expression.
"Go on then Malfoy, tell them"
Blaise raised his voice from the corner of the room with a smile knowing where this is going.
"Okay well it all started when Voldemort wa-"
"Draco!"
Astoria hissed slapping him on the arm.
"The fuck was that for?"
Draco fired back pushing himself up from his slumber in the common room.
"You cant say his name"
Pansy piped up helping Astoria out. I laughed in response as did the others.
"Ugh whatever...anyway where was i? Oh yes...So, years ago Vol- he who must not be named, fell in love with one of his death eaters"
Gasps filled the room as i leant in closer impatient to hear the rest.
"Legend says they had a kid"
"Impossible"
Crabbe scoffed, scratching the back of his head.
"Right?"
"Not really mate, his dick went in he-"
Draco started before the girls gagged in disgust causing him to stop his sentence and just laugh it off.
"You know what i meant"
Crabbe sat back offended that he wasn't taken seriously. He never is let's face it.
"Go on Draco, the story"
I mentioned, something about this story drew me in.
"Well, he was so protective over his girl that, well, he kinda claimed her. Some say imprinted"
Imprinted? This is a joke. What is this Twilight?
"What like wolves?"
Theo Nott laughed hitting Draco on the shoulder not convinced what so ever.
"No. Don't interrupt me. It's said that Riddle's hold so much power that when the dark side of the universe decides they have found their soulmate, a mark is left on their body to 'claim' them as their's"
He finished, once again sitting back in his chair proud of the nonsense he had just told.
"That's terrifying"
Pansy squirmed, tucking herself into me.
"Really? I think it's so romantic"
Astoria admitted gazing off into the distance imagining the scenario.
"How do you know that?"
I asked, more interested than anyone else. Draco always seems to know a lot about The dark lord. But how?
"Just erm...You know... i'm smart"
He said with a wink. Sure Draco. You tell yourself that.
Present day
"Yes. It's true"
Mattheo huffed, flipping himself so that he was sitting next to me in his bed.
"So...The universe thinks we're...You know...Soulmates?"
I continued, turning to look into his hazel eyes.
"Let me guess Draco told you that"
He smiled, amusement plastered on his face.
"Yeah?"
How did he know?
"Well that's not exactly how it works."
He replied pulling the covers over himself and resting his head on the pillow facing me.
"Tell me."
I demanded still holding eye contact.
"Calm yourself darling"
He laughed. His eyes trailed to my neck where the hickey was still open on display. Oh shit. I forgot about that!
"The universe or whatever has nothing to do with it, that's just what i told him for a laugh. But the rest is true, it's just if there is a connection between a Riddle and someone, then..."
He raised an eye brow before he even bothered to finish what he was saying implying that i already knew how it was going to end.
"Just to be clear there is no connection between us Riddle"
I threw the covers off my body and stepped out of his pile.
"Y/n, you need to rest"
He sat up looking at me worried.
"why should i listen to you, you fucking claimed me!"
With that i turned on my heals and charged towards his door opening it and allowing myself out.
As i slammed the door behind me i was free from his trap and in the boys common room corridor. As i stood for a moment trying to catch my breath, something clicked. He told Draco that? Mattheo told Draco that story? Draco told me the story ages ago though. They don't talk! Not that i'm aware of.
