'The lake house'
Y/n Pov
"Maybe taking her back to the castle is too obvious."
The brunette implied to the blonde haired boy, both talking as of i wasn't right there with them."I know just the place."
Draco huffed, a half smile pulling his lips as he leant recklessly on broomstick changing the direction we were flying in."Can i know where you're taking me?"
I scoffed, shouting over the sped of the wind fighting against us. As much as i trusted them both, this was more serious than i had ever had to put faith in them for. This was my survival in their hands. As the journey continued, long, cold, tiring, we finally came back down to land where i was taken by surprise to see a beautiful lake house standing proudly on an island located in the middle of a crystal blue lake. The mansion had colossal windows surrounding the building as the glimmering water reflected the structure perfectly, allowing its beauty to be admired through its image.
"Draco, are you sure we can be here?"
I remarked, mesmerised by the sight in front of my eyes."Well yeah, it's my grandparents. They never really come here, so we're safe."
The blonde insisted, tilting his head signalling to us that we should follow him. Attempting to walk toward the mansion, my leg began to pulse as realisation hit my brain that i had in fact been injured."Mattheo." I mumbled, my heart beating out of my chest at the sight of a slice in my leggings weeping out blood.
"Fuck. Draco get her inside i need to cast a protection spell, they could track her blood if there's any traces."
His eyes glimmered with worry, as his vision flickered between my wounded leg and the surroundings, most likely planning out his charm. Placing one arm around the tall Slytherin's shoulder, he slung his arm around my back keeping me stable whilst we leisurely inched closer to the patterned wooden doors which was the main entrance.
"Alohomora,"
Taking his wand out of his left pocket, the boy swished his wand past the entrance muttering the charm that would magically allow him to do so. "There's a room on the ground floor, stay in there until you can manage the stairs." He smiled, a pitiful look in his eyes."Dray, spell is up, i need a beer."
A voice from the hallway echoed, as a slam from the large doors soon followed behind.
Draco took me into the kitchen and placed me down on one of the high chairs which took a lot of muddling about for us to successfully get me comfortable. As Mattheo entered the room, he wondered straight over to me without even acknowledging Draco holding his hand out with a cold Corona."If i could take this all back, i would," His hands steadily began to roll up the bottom end of my leggings almost reaching the messy gash on my calf. "You should have never met me." He wined, seeing how fucked up my leg truly was as he broke away from me and rummaged through the drawers finding a pair of scissors. As his words played on my mind, it was clear that even Draco felt effected by them. His expressions lowered and almost well, sad.
"Yeah? Well i wouldn't change it for the world." A small smile caught onto my mouth whilst my leg was still throbbing in discomfort.
Mattheo bought his finding over to me and started chopping parts of material away from the laceration, as Draco stood by the sink filling up a bowl of warm tap water and searching the room for what i can only assume a cloth. He acted as if he had no idea where anything even was."Can't magic heal it?"
I squealed, my eyes latching shut at the movement of fabric around my cut."Can't undo dark magic. The whole building was swarmed in it, even bricks." Disappointment cursed my face at Draco's words. I just didn't understand how he knew so much about the Death Eaters, to me it made no sense, there was something they weren't telling me.
"How do you know that? How do you know so much about the Death Eaters?" I hissed, Mattheo peering up from attempting to heal my leg and catching eye contact with Draco, he stood still in his tracks and too, stared at Mattheo.
"There's something you should probably know, Y/N," Mattheo hesitated, both boys scratching the backs of their necks clearly debating how to go about delivering the information to me. What could they really have to hide?...
