I splashed Sirius with water, he laughed and lifted me over his shoulder, going a bit deeper. He threw me in, I pouted as I stood up, then laughed as he saluted and fell back. He came back up and grinned at me,
He said" Having fun?"
I said" Definitely!" I splashed him, he laughed then smirked and walked away, I pouted and ran, as best I could, after him as he started cackling.

I walked back into the house, Sirius was sitting on the counter, smirking as I pouted at him.
He said" Have fun?"
I said" It took me ages!"
" Yes, I know, short legs." I slapped at his arm as I passed him, Remus and James were chuckling at us.
" It's not funny! I'm sorry you're all bloody giants!" They began laughing, Reggie walked in,
He said" What's funny?"
James said" Little bird is jealous that we're bloody giants."
" Wanna know how to make a giant fall, little one?" I nodded quickly,
" Oh, no."
" Oh, no indeed, James. Come'er."
" Mm-mm."
" Yes." James groaned then walked to us, Reggie pushed the inside of his knees with his foot and he wobbled then fell. I laughed,
" Ahh! Why?! The pain!"
" Oh, shut up! I've seen you take worse during matches!"
" Fair enough." James stood up,
" You're not short, little one, they're just giants." He ruffled my hair,
I screamed" Reggie!" He laughed and took off, I chased after him," I'm braiding your hair and Remus'll freeze it for me!"
" You'd have to catch me first, love!"
" Lily! Dorcas!"
" Grocery!"
" Get back here!" He laughed and ran up the stairs, I heard the boys cackling from the kitchen.

Reggie defeatedly walked down the stairs as I clung to him,
Remus said" She catcha ya, mate?"
Reggie grumbled" What do you think?" He walked to them, then caught me as I nearly slipped down his body.
Sirius said" Brilliant! Reggie got caught by a 13 year old!" He took a picture, Reggie rolled his eyes,
" I will pay you to let go, Ezra."
I squeaked" In what? How much?"
" Sweets. As much as 20 galleons can buy you." I looked to Sirius, he smirked and acted like he was thinking about it then nodded his head.
" Deal." I got down, grinning at him,
" I believe Sirius has taught you far too well."
" Probably!"
Sirius said" Well, I have to! She'll still have 3 more years of school when we leave there!"
Remus said" 5th, 6th, and 7th year." I pouted, realizing that they were going to be graduating next year.
James said" Oh... No, don't fret, Ezra! You'll still have Reggie! He'll watch out for you! And we'll visit Hogsmeade all the time, you'll see us!"
I said" But at night, I'll be alone."
Sirius said" Only for 2 years and only during school! During every holiday, we'll cuddle! And Reggie'll let you bunk with him, right?"
Reggie said" Definitely." He ruffled my hair, I sighed,
I said" But I'll miss you..."
Sirius said" No need to fret about it now, okay? Come on, let's see that smile." He rubbed my cheek with his thumb, I smiled as he made a goofy face." There we are! No frowns this summer! Happy happy happy!" He swung our arms," Now, get your galleons from Reggie before he welshes on the deal."

I was sitting on the middle of the counter, James was throwing marshmallows at me, I'd catch a few and Remus was catching the ones I'd miss with a spell. The girls ran in,
Lily said" Fair... in town." She panted, doubling over,
Dorcas said" We're going tonight." She and Marlene doubled over as well, Mary was laughing.
James said" What?"
Mary said" There's a fair in town! We're going tonight."
" Brilliant! Mark that off the list, Pad."
Lily said" Has she even had any actual food today?"
Sirius said" And you talk about us acting like her dad! Mummy!"
" Shut up!"
I said" Remus made a sandwich."
" Good."
" What's a fair?"
" A really fun place! With loads of sweets and fun rides!"

I was giggling as the girls dressed me up, James hit the door again,
He groaned" Are you lot almost done?!"
Sirius whined" You're taking forever!"
Lily said" We're done! You can come in!" They barged in,
I said" Hi."
James said" You look lovely, little bird." I smiled,
Sirius said" Come on, give us a whirl." I laughed and twirled around, they hollered like goofs.
Lily said" Let's go!"
