I know people who force
"I love you's"
to roll off their tongue,
like tears
down their cheek,
at a funeral of someone you never really knew.
Something that is done because it feels polite,
like it needs to be said for sympathy. And I know others who the thought of commitment
makes them want to cry
because
"I love you"
feels so much like
"goodbye".
