I had always questioned what love is.
Is it a definition?
A feeling?
A chemical?
Something shared between two people? We are told that love is found in a kiss.
That love is a good morning text or a conversation that keeps you up late into the night.
That love is showing up with chocolate or flowers.
Dancing in the kitchen as the sun sets.
But I don't think any of these things are love.
Nor do I think it can be summed up in a feeling, state or definition.
But rather love is a force, a series of relizations drawing you closer together.See with you I had fallen in love long before I knew what to call it.
My lips had know it was love before I could pronounce the words.
My pen had written for you a million words before I was taught to call them sonnets.
And my soul had found yours even before I had entered this life.
Because love is found long before the heart and the mind have the ability to communicate with one another.I had loved you before I even realized I was in love.
Before I knew what that meant.
I fell in love with you a million times over ,
And everyday I fall in love with you again.
