yesterday a wise old man told me a thing about soul mates. He said to miss someone is to miss their company. Which means to miss their physicality. He said true soul mates don't concern them selfs too much of eyes and cheeks and lips but rather of souls. You can't miss someone who is your soulmate because your souls are always together. They were together before you meet and will be together long after. I don't worry about hearing back from you as quickly anymore. And my arms don't ache for you the way they used too. It's not that I don't wish for you to be here. As I still love the honey brown hue of your eyes. The warm blush of your cheeks. And the soft touch of your lips.  But as I put sugar cubes in a strangers coffee I like to think my soul is with your soul having a picnic, somewhere in July, falling in love with poetry and you simontaniously for the very first time.
