chapter 5

Drequan

Dre threw on a pair of Nike slides and a black hoodie as he made his way out of the door. He had to pick up his car that had been in the shop since the night of homecoming. He was glad that he and nique wouldn't have to walk to school anymore.

Dre's phone then rang taking him out of his thoughts. "Hello" he said sounding sleepy.

"You coming to make this drop with me" Chris said impatiently. Dre hated having to do this but, if it meant his mom and sister would be good then he didn't care. His mom didn't know that he did this. Nique is the only person who knew. Far as his mom knows he has a job at a convient store.

"Yea, what time are you going" dre said putting his hand over his face.

"Be here no later than 7" Chris said before hanging up. Dre knew he needed to change his way of living.

Lanique

Nique decided to do a little shopping for her baby since today was Saturday.her mom left her 200 dollars on the counter to buy clothes for herself but, nique felt like she had enough clothes. She was currently in the outlet store where you could find good deals on baby clothes. She covinced dre to bring her up there

"This is really cute" nique said to herself.

"Yea but, I prefer my godson in namebrands only" dre said frowning.

"Who the hell has money for that. When you drop some change you can talk but, until then he will wear what I buy him" nique said rolling her eyes.

"Well if you let me buy his clothes and quite trippin then we wouldn't be having this discussion" nique sighed, she didn't want dre spending money that he didn't have on her baby. He sold weed but, that only brought in a couple thousand a month for his mom and sister.

"I have money" nique said looking through the racks.

"So" dre said shrugging.

"So keep your money" nique said holding something else up.

"No, now come on" dre said grabbing her hand.

"Drequan Anthony manning, where the hell are you taking me" nique said through gritted teeth.

"Don't worry about it" dre said walking faster. After a while they had made it to this store that contained everything from baby polos, Levis, and other namebrands.

"Didn't I tell you no" nique said with an attitude and her arms crossed.

"I really don't give a fuck what you said. Just be happy that somebody wants to spend money on your baby. Keep your money and buy something for yourself" dre said with a stern look.

Nique knew that dre meant well and that he wouldn't take no for an answer. She also knew that if they kept arguing he would always win.

Drequan

Dre picked up everything from little cute baby bucket hats to Nike hoodies. He was determined to make nique change her mind about him being the father. This was also a way to get one step closer to nique.

Dre had spent all the money he had. Luckily he was smart about things He always put up the money he needed and put the money he was going to blow in his wallet.

"Let's go" dre said to nique as they made there way out of the mall. Dre only had an hour to be at the corner he was going to meet chris at.

20 minutes later

Dre pulled into niques driveway helping her out. He also helped her get the bags out and made sure she was good before leaving.

"Wait dre" nique said grabbing his hand.

"Wassup" he said turning her way.

"Thank you" she said hugging him and kissing him on the cheek.

"You're welcome" he said before walking out. He felt some type of way when nique kissed him on the cheek.

He then made his way to the corner which only took five minutes. He then parked his car and locked it so no one would steal it.

"You got that" dre said dapping up chris.

"You know" chris said putting out his cigarette. They then made there way to the mans house they were selling there package to. He was Mexican and had a nice house.

Dre knocked on his door wating for him to come out. The man then opened the door smiling.

"I've been waiting on you two" he said letting them in. The man then went in the back to get the suit case with money in it. Pretty soon he came back and they gave him the package of weed. Dre was happy that this transaction went well and that he got a raise.

Wattpad is pissing me the fuck off not letting me save my chapters. Sorry for any mistakes in this chapter.
