chapter 16

Lanique

Nique was standing at her locker putting a few things away when Shawn walked up to her. They had been talking on the phone all week.

"Wassup nique" Shawn asked nervously.

"Hey Shawn you look nice today"nique said with a small smile. She was kind of dieing inside cause he actually looked really sexy.

"Appreciate you but, I wanted to ask you something" Shawn said getting nervous all over again.

"Well what is it"

"Well I wanted to know if you wanted to go on a date with me. I mean you don't have to if you don't want to. Never mind I shouldn't have-"

"Shawn I would love to go with you just pick me up Saturday " nique said walking away leaving shawn dumbfounded. Shawn did a happy dance happy that she said yes.

Drequan

Dre was headed to his second class when a mad Tiffany ran up beside him. Dre mentally prepared himself for Tiffany's bullshit.

" so dre I heard you and that hoe live together now" tiffany said slanging her Peruvian.

"Why the fuck does it matter? What I do doesn't concern you fam you ain't my girl no more" dre said annoyed as fuck.

"That's not the point, you were fucking her when we were together drequan. Tell that bitch I want my one with her" tiffany said getting in Dre's face.

"Well what's good then bitch? I ain't pregnant no more. I'm sick of yo messy ass always starting shit" nique said highly pissed off.

"Naw nique she ain't worth it let's just go" dre said trying to turn her around but, she wouldn't budge.

"Oh you tryna play captain save a how now drequan. I knew y'all was fuckin" tiffany said putting her hair in a bun. Soon kids started stoping and starring.

Lanique got out of Dre's grip charging towards tiffany with full force. Blow after blow landed on Tiffany's face. Nique was letting out anger she didn't know was built up inside her. Tiffany flipped them over getting in only a few punches but, nique bashed her head in one of the lockers causing her to roll back over.

"Don't ever disrespect me you weak ass bitch. Keep my sons name out your mouth hoe" nique said kicking her in the head with her timberland boot.

"That's enough nique, you proved yourself" dre said pulling nique back. Pretty soon two principals and coach byson walked up to the scene.

"Drequan did you start this fight? You're sitting out the next game" an angry coach byson said.

"What, that's bullshit I didn't even start this fight" dre said pissed off.

"THAT WAS YOUR WEAK ASS DAUGHTER. OL MESSY ASS BITCH OUTTA QUITE STARTING SHIT" nique said trying to get out of the principals grip.

"Mrs. Lanique you've already caused enough drama I advise you to be quite". Prinicipal Loyola said.

" and I adivise you to shut the fuck up. That shit ain't right dre didn't even start this fight" nique said as she was being taken to the office.

A pissed off drequan just walked away. He couldn't believe Tiffany's ass made him miss another game.

Lanique

After nique had calmed down they gave her a two day suspension. She wasn't mad about it because, she had finally got to get what she wanted. To woop Tiffany's ass.

"I heard about what happend nique. I just came to check on you" Shawn said concerned.

"I'm fine shawn, thank you" nique said with a small smile.

"Are you sure you don't need a ride home" shawn said scratching his head.

"I'm positive I just need to find drequan Where ever he is" nique said now starting to walk.

"He's in the gym shooting hoops and he seemed pretty angry so I think it would be best if I took you home" shawn said figeding with his fingers.

"Fine but, can we get something to eat on the way there" nique said putting her hand over her face.

"Fine with me" shawn said with a smile.

After walking out the school and getting in the car shawn began driving. There was an ochard silence as they drove to burger king.

"If you don't mind me asking what was that fight all about"? Shawn said breaking the silence.

"Well that was drequans ex girlfriend and she's never liked me. When I first met her she was cool and real down to earth but, she seen that dre would always hangout with me. So she thought that we had something going on. She would always listen to rumors about how dre got me pregnant and that we had sex so she started to hate me. I don't understand why when dre is just my best friend" nique said shrugging.

"Oh well she shouldn't have listened to those rumors. Rumors are what people start so that they can make themselves feel good" shawn said trying to lighten up the moment.

"You're a good person shawn" nique said with a smile. Shawn just smiled before turning into the burger king drive through . after order their food they a little more before shawn took nique home . she couldn't wait for their date Saturday.
