3 weeks later

Lanique

"Are you ready nique nique" dre said standing in her door way and feeding quari.

"Yea just let me grab my jacket" nique said going to her closet.now that quari was almost a month and getting bigger nique decided she was ready to go back to school. Dre had also moved in with her to take care of quari.

" do you have quaris stuff together to take him to your moms" nique said walking in the living room to find dre sitting down.

"Yea come on" dre said walking out the door. Since Dre's mom house was just across the street he made his way over there. Nique created this plan where Dre's mom would have quari while they went to school.

After a while dre has come back and opened the doors to his car. Today would be a long day for the both of them.

Drequan

"How have you been dre glad to see my star player at school again. So talk to me, my daughter tells me you have a son now" couch byson said. He really didn't feel like talking to him because, he was just going to question him.

"Yep" dre said not paying him to much attention.

"Well congrats, and heads up we have a game tomorrow night" couch byson said patting Dre's shoulder before walking away. Fuck! Dre thought to himself. He had been slacking a lot but, it was only for a reason so practice was well needed for him.

"Wassam fam" Jordan said dapping dre up.

"What's good how you been boy" dre said with a slight smile.

"Shit nun you know me but, what's up with you boy heard you got a little shawty now. Congrats kid" Jordan said dapping dre up again.

"Thanks fam but, aye I'll talk to you later guess I'm bout to go to first period"

"Ight fool" Chris said walking away from heading to his first period also. Dre let out a sigh before beginning to walk.

Lanique

The bell had rung causing nique to curse under breath. She began to run until she bumped until this figure walking in front of her.

"Watch where the fu-" nique was caught off by a voice she hasn't heard since she was in middle school. She missed it so much.

" lanique is that you? How have you been?" Niques first boyfriend Shawn said. She hadn't seen him sense his parents had moved to houston and they had to break up. He looked so much better than he did when they were kids. He stood at 6'5, gorgeous Carmel brownskin, and a smile that was worth a million dollars.

"Oh my gosh I've been good. When did you guys move back down here" nique said almost stuttering . Shawn had really glo'd up.

"Last weekend, I didn't know you went to school here" Shawn said showing that pretty smile again. Him and nique walked into the front office to get tardy passed.

"Yea actually, I just came back today because, I just had my son" nique said a little nervous.

"What, I would love to meet him one day. Do you have any pictures?"

"Yes" nique said takeing out her phone. Shawn smiled at the picture of the little baby.

"He's adorable" shawn said showing his dimples. It turned nique on a little because, he was just so damn fine.

"Well I guess I better get to class. Can I get you're number before I go" shawn said takeing out his phone and handing it to nique.

"Sure" nique said typing in her name. She couldn't do nothing but, blush.

"Thank you, I'll call you tonight" shawn said walking away. Nique couldn't do nothing but, stand there. She had to catch her breath again.

Drequan

End of the day

" run like you're life depends on it" couch byson said being dramatic. He stopped talking when this boy the same height as dre walked up to him. He didn't know what they were talking about but, they held small talk.

"Aye who that" dre asked Jordan.

"That's the new boy shawn" Jordan said running beside dre. It then hit Dre that this was niques ex boyfriend from middle school.

"Oh yea, I know him" dre said still running.

"He was all on nique earlier but, I don't know what they were talking about" Jordan said shrugging.

"Oh for real" dre said talking like he wasn't fased by it but, deep inside jealousy and anger came over him.

"Yep, well guess I'm bout to go chill sense practice is done" Jordan said dapping up dre.

"Ight fool" dre said getting ready to walk away. He had to make sure that nique was ready because, she had been at tutorials to make up for the missing days.

Just as dre was walking that way he spotted her talking to a group of girls.

"You ready little girl" dre said interupting their conversation.

"Yea" nique said saying bye to her friends.

"What's wrong with you"nique said to dre as they got in the car.

"Nothing man" dre lied. Deep inside her was jealous.

"Aww its ok best friend, just smile" nique said grabbing dres face.

"Whatever man" dre said annoyed. He clearly didn't wanna talk.
