"Hear me and rejoice. You have had the privilege of being saved by the Great Titan. You may think this is suffering. No. It is salvation. Universal scales tip toward balance because of your sacrifice. Smile. For even in death, you have become children of Thanos." The alien that looked a lot like Squidward was giving his speech.
"Yeah, no. I don't know how you define suffering but... this is like one hundred per cent suffering so, yeah. I also don't want to be a child of Thanos, thank you though." Maddie spoke as she lay on the ground in pain having been caught off guard and beaten.
"I know what it's like to lose. To feel so desperately that you're right... yet to fail, nonetheless. It's frightening. Turns the legs to jelly. I ask you, to what end? Dread it. Run from it. Destiny arrives all the same. And now, it's here. Or should I say... I am." Thanos spoke ignoring Madeleine's comment.
"You talk too much." Thor scolded which was a mistake on his part. "The Tesseract, or your brother's head. I assume you have a preference." Thomas asked Loki making Maddie turn to him as he avoided her eye contact.
"Oh, I do. Kill away!" He told the giant purple man.
"Loki! No stop!" Madeleine cried as Thor get torture not having the strength to do anything. "All right, stop!" the raven-haired brother spoke listening to his girlfriend.
"We don't have the Tesseract. It was destroyed on Asgard." Madeleine told them grunting in pain from her sudden movement. Ebony Maw lifted her up on her knees and made her watch what was happening before her eyes.
Loki looked at her with tears in his eyes as he watched his love in pain as he made the Tesseract appear out of thin air making Maddie close her eyes to let out a shaky breath before opening them. "You really are the worst brother," Thor told him.
"I assure you, brother... the sun will shine on us again," Loki told him.
"Your optimism is misplaced, Asgardian," Thanos told him.
"Well, for one thing, I'm not Asgardian. And for another... We have a Hulk." Loki swiftly got out of the way while Hulk battled Thanos.
"Hey, hey. Maddie?" Loki got her attention. "I love you, just know that, okay?" Before she could say anything Ebony Maw placed metal over her mouth to stop her from speaking making Loki smile reassuringly and kissing the top of her head.
"All fathers... let the dark magic flow through me one last... time." Heimdall used the Bifrost to send Hulk Home only to be killed by them stabbing him. Maddie screamed watching her friend die making her cry but no one could hear her.
Maddie couldn't listen anymore, thoughts clouding her head so when she looked up to see Thanos choking Loki she cried harder.
She stared at the sight in front of her in horror as Loki was struggling with a lack of oxygen. Madeleine tried to move and even scream in protest but they couldn't hear her.
"You will... never be... a god." Loki is managed to chock out having Thanos look at him in disbelief before snapping Loki's neck.
Madeleine and Thor screamed and cried both losing someone very important to them. "No resurrections this time." Thanos through Loki away like a rag doll before teleporting the five aliens away left the ship to explode slowly.
Both Thor and Maddie were free and able to move. Maddie got to Loki's corps fist resting his head on her lap praying that this was only an illusion or a nightmare. Tears clouded her eye's as Thor held onto Loki with one hand and Maddie with the other.
As purple explosions were everywhere Maddie took out the head device she got and put it on so she could breathe. The ship ended up getting destroyed Wih Thor hold onto Maddie for dear life and she got knocked out.

Madeleine shot up moving far away from everything having all her emotions hit her at once. She looked around to see that she was on a ship and the Thor was standing in front of her with his back toward Maddie.
She walked up to Thor placing a hand on his shoulder. He finched until he turned his head a saw that it was her. They both slowly turned around to see six different being all aiming guns at the two.
Thor pushed Madeline behind him in a protective manner while asking. "Who the hell are you guys?"

"The entire time I knew Thanos, he only ever had one goal: To bring balance to the Universe by wiping out half of all life. He used to kill people planet by planet, massacre by massacre... If he gets all six Infinity Stones, he can do it with the snap of his fingers, like this." Gamora snapped her fingers.
She sounds like she knows a lot about the guy. Madeleine thought.
Thor was having soup with a blanket wrapped around him while Maddie sat in a corner looking out the ship a blanket her. She was numb. She lost her friends and her family. Over the two months, she knew everyone they welcomed her like family.
"You seem to know a great deal about Thanos," Thor commented sparing a glance toward the Maximoff to make sure she was okay which she wasn't and he knew she would try the play it off cool. "Gamora... is the daughter of Thanos," Drax told them.
"Your father killed my brother." Thor imminently stood up and walked towards the green woman who he was staring down making Peter react fast. "Oh, boy. Stepfather. Technically, she hates him as much as you do."
"Families can be tough. Before my father died, he told me I had a half-sister...that he imprisoned in Hel. Then she returned home, and stabbed me in the eye, so... I had to kill her. It's life, isn't it, I guess. Goes round and round and... I feel your pain." Thor told them looking over at Maddie who still wasn't looking at them.
"And I feel your pain, as well. I mean it's not a competition, but I've been through a lot. My father killed my mother, then I had to kill my father. And that was hard. Probably even harder than having to kill a sister. Plus, I, came out of it with both of my eyes..." Quill retorted.
"What's her deal?" Rocket asked as Thor got ready to go making everyone look over at Maddie who just played with he red hair as she sat there in silence. "She's been through a lot." Was Thor's reply. "Not to make it a competition, but she win's."
"How?" Drax asked having no sensitivity only to have Thor shake his head clearly not going to tell them.
Thor walked up to Maddie placing a hand on her shoulder making her jump up out of shock but then faked a smile.
If you're in pain or hurting do not let it show as it is a sign of weakness. The lesson HYDRA taught her running through her head.
"Hey, it's just me. Do you wanna come for a ride?" He asked her to shake her head while trying to convene herself that she was okay and she had think skin so nothing could hurt her. "No, I think I might help these guys. Only if that's okay?"
"I'm fine with it." Gamora and Quill spoke at the same time. "Great." she faked being excited so that she could hide her emotions.
"Are you sure?" Thor asked her with worry and concern.
"If anyone knows anything about infinity stones, it's probably me... you know be in contact with three and all." She faked a smile. "What you've been in contact with three of them?" Gamora asked her.
"Yeah, I got experimented on with the mind, reality, and space stones." she told them in a 'duh tone like it was obvious. "Well, then she stays." Quill clapped his hands.
