CHAPTER 27

"DEAR SANDRO,

I had a dream about you before. Noong hindi ko pa naaalala lahat.

We were casually talking sa Bangui Windmills and nakaputi tayong dalawa.

I thought it was just a normal dream kasi palagi kitang nakikita eh.

Ano kaya ibig sabihin ng panaginip ko na yun?

Dumaan naman muna ako sa office bago ako pumunta kay Sandro.

I-che-check ko lang sana ang emails ko.

Pagdating ko, mag-isa lang si Apollo.

"Hi, Goodmorning." I greeted him pero he just looked at me and smiled.

I find the unusual pero I didn't mind.

"Kamusta ka naman?" I asked him but he just stood up and kumuha ng tubig.

"Bigla ka nawala noong isang gabi ah, iniwan mo ako."

I said habang nakangiti.

"You were with Sandro naman di ba?" He asked pero nakikita ko sa mukha nya yung pagiging irita.

"Yeah.. he was there but iniwan---"

"So, walang issue kung umalis ako that night di ba? Kasi nandyan naman sya."

Kumunot naman ang noo ko.

"What?" I asked

"You were with me but when he showed up you suddenly forgot about me."

"Apollo, ikaw ang umalis, bigla ka lang---"

"You forgot that I was there, Clarion! We were on a date that night--"

"Date?"

Natigilan naman sya.

"You know what nevermind--"

Aalis na sana sya sa harapan ko but I stopped him.

"Wait.. You didn't asked me on a date, Apollo."

"I asked you to have dinner with me!"

"That doesn't mean it was a date! You didn't clarify it to me!"

"Ano bang ini-expect mo, Clarion? That it was just a casual dinner between two friends?"

"YES!"

"It wasn't! I have been trying to show you how I feel!"

Sigaw niya naman.

Nagulat ako na naguguluhan sa kanya.

"What?"

"For God's sake, I like you, Clarion! I like you ever since you started working here!" He exclaimed.

I was too stunned to speak.

Natahimik kaming dalawa but a loud noise broke the silence.
