POV: 3rd Person

As the days flew by, it was the night of the date. Taemoo was not ready, and neither was Sunghoon. They both would rather spend their night without the arrangement, rather spending it on cuddling in front of the couch whilst they watch some drama that Sunghoon was interested in.

Hari sat down on the chair. Trying to act like her best friend, Yeongseo. She had checked herself in the mirror more than three times within the past 30 seconds, trying her best to look like the ideal heir, trying to copy what Yeongseo would look like if she was a brattier type.

She panicked, seeing the man who was coming up behind her through the hand-held mirror. The CEO of GoFood, he walked like a model, but there came a worse scenario. The male was her boss, something rather unexpected. She quickly pulled herself together as she gestured to the other seat, "Take a seat." She did not bother to bow, either.

He hands her his business card - to which she was way too familiar with the print - and she takes a look at the little card. "Ms. Jin?" The CEO repeated, breaking her trance, clearly annoyed now as she had probably been ignoring his calls.

"Ah yes?" she looked up, blinking a few times.

"Is something wrong?" He tilts his head with a raise of a perfect eyebrow.

"Oh, of course not! Please, what were you saying?" Hari let out a dry laugh as the latter continued, a bead of sweat dripping down the side of her forehead. This was too much for her, and the wig did not help either. Rather, it heated her up even more. She was nervous about the lies, and even more about how this would go - regret slipping right into her. She did NOT want to back her friend up for this.

"I have an offer for you," Taemoo started, clearing his throat and earning the female's attention, "of course, you do not have to agree to this, but I would rather get this over with." Taemoo had thought this out with Sunghoon, hoping it would work and that his date was a kind-hearted woman who would gladly understand their issue.

"Go on." She gestures with her hand, polite now, placing them on her lap. Trying her best to smile.

"We can have a contractual marriage," The lady's eyes narrowed, completely lost in whatever this guy was telling her, but she waits for him to continue. He had a slight tone of hesitance, something very unlikely of a usually confident CEO. "I've already found someone to my liking, though I'm sure my grandfather would be very unhappy if I tell him. I don't plan on marrying someone I don't like. I'm sure you understand."

"May I ask who that woman might be?" Hari couldn't help but be curious. What could she do? No one knows what the CEO of GoFoods is interested in as he'd never involved himself in a scandal, and he was very tight-lipped about everything, cautious - but that is why he's fit to be in the position he's in now. She adds quickly, "- You don't have to tell me if you aren't comfortable."

"I, unfortunately, can not. But it is a man whom I am quite close with." He'd just give off a hint, thinking that the girl would probably not know who it was. There's no one else that Taemoo was close with except Sunghoon. Really, he's a quiet guy who had one friend in his boring life that filled itself with paperwork and other stuff. Hardly enough time to really get to know the people he works with.

Sunghoon had known him since he was little. He had plenty of time to get to know the younger and confess while they were in their school days when it wasn't so hectic and horrible for the CEO.

Unfortunately for him, she knew. Well, she at least had a clue... Mr. Cha? Isn't he Mr. Kang's secretary..? Her mind ran into circles, thoughts circling her head and screaming ten different things at once. She tries to catch up with them. Mr. Cha often attends many things for CEO Kang as the male never liked going out and revealing himself to the public up until this point.

"Uh, Ms. Jin? I'd like an answer now, it's alright if you don't want to follow up on it. I'll pay you if you need..." the CEO sounded... Desperate. Not wanting to go on any more dates even if this was the first one, not wanting to waste time and find fake interests.

He just wanted to go back home to his beloved boyfriend and cuddle up with the poor guy, knowing he was probably passed out in the living room waiting for him to come back. Sunghoon was always the type to be a golden retriever. Waiting for Taemoo to come home from work.

"Uhm yes! I'll take that offer. May I have your number, please?" Hari asked politely, smiling, pretending as though she wasn't shocked by the offer at all, as if she wasn't even interested in the news. Passing her phone to the CEO in front of her. Seeing his type in the numbers, she quickly regretted asking but couldn't stop now as she was too deep into this to stop.

"How about a million won? That'd do for you, right? You're already loaded with money, but it doesn't hurt if you need more." Hari was completely surprised as she suppressed a gasp. He was offering it to her to keep her mouth shut, as expected, it's not like he'll trust anyone he meets. "No, no, no~ I don't need your money. I can act like it. You're in trouble" she said the first three words in English and continued with Korean.

"Well, then I'm guessing we're done here..." Taemoo got up from the seat as he left in silence, walking as if he was a model and out, shuffling his suit jacket and smoothing out wrinkles. slightly bowing to the female as he went, looking at his phone while waiting outside the building for his boyfriend to pick him up.

Though, he saw a girl chasing (who he thought was) Yeongseo, running away from the lady who was trying to fight her as a black car stopped in front of her just a few feet away from hitting her. She had gasped, then bowed to the car. It was a car that's very familiar to Taemoo.

It was his car. Seeing the man inside of it gasp as he sighed in relief not hitting anyone with the vehicle, getting kind of irritated at the woman he didn't know. "Shib-.." Sunghoon pulled over to the side, unlocking the passenger seat and letting his boyfriend in.

"Did you just get annoyed earlier?" He buckled up his seatbelt, smiling teasingly. Sunghoon was always the type to stay calm and collected in front of other people, so it's no surprise when he's more relaxed in saying whatever he'd like by himself in a non-professional setting. Taemoo was no stranger to his frustrations.

"I mean, how could I not? Who runs in front of a car like that?" He loved it when the latter got irritated and ranted to him. It's rare to see the male so worked up, though, rightfully so. Sunghoon was able to control his temper like no other. He knows the younger gets irritated, but he keeps calm because most of the time it was in a professional setting. Taemoo would be the only person in the room to notice Sunghoon wanting to roll his eyes at an idiotic suggestion.

"You look cute when you're annoyed." He cooed as he heard the other sigh.

"I'm also just annoyed because I still have a bit of pain left from a few days ago, and I can't walk comfortably.." He muttered just enough for the older to hear, "all your fault."

"Sorry, I couldn't help it.." That was all he said before going back to looking at the phone in his hands, working.
