CHAPTER 22

Keziah's POV

I'm just a kid, but I still remember the face of my dad. And I'm pretty sure, na sya yun. Pero bakit hindi nasabi ni mom sa akin. My dad is the owner of that school. Now I know why he really wants me to graduate from that school. Inisip ko rin na bakit, hindi man lang sya nagpapakita sa akin. Well, I guess hindi na nya ako kilala. I was a kid when he left us at Malaki na ako ngayon. He won't recognize me, for sure.

I'm lying on my bed. I can't sleep right now. I force my mind to remember the last word that he said when he left us. There is something in my memory that I slightly remember but can't. It was a long time ago. At hindi ko na talaga sya maalala.

Tomorrow mornin'. I walk down the street when someone calls me. Unknown number. Still sinagot ko yun kahit ayaw ko.

Phone call......

Hello," said" Anya Ko.

Sumagot ang isang pamilyar na boses.

"Is this Keziah?"

" Yes ma'am. Bakit po napatawag"

"Ahhh, I just want to talk to you in person. Are you free today?"

"Yes, ma'am."

Pumunta ako sa isang resto na mamahalin. Well it's pretty much obvious how expensive it is.

" Hi. Just sit. Ok i'm not gonna prolong this conversation. I ask you to come here to give this"

Tas may ibinigay sya na maliit na sobreng puti. I open it at tumanbad sa akin ang maraming pera.

" I know your independent. At pinapaaral ang sarili. I hope it may help you. Just ask me if you need more----"

I stop her from talking.

" Ma'am sorry but i can't accept it. Hindi ko naman ho kaya na ipagbili ang aking dangal. At hindi ko din naman ho kaya na tanggapin itong pera na ito. Dahil sa nangangailangan ako. Still i have a pride at kaya kong mabuhay ng mag-isa. Plus nabuhay na po ako ng mag-isa for the long time. Your late actually."

" Kung ganun layuan mo ang anak ko. Hindi ka makakatulong sa kanya. How many times do i realize to you that he is not fit to you. Your just a typical girl. Your just wasting your time to him. Josh doesn't love you. Infact he just used you for his rebelling. Para lang magrebelde. Ikakasal na ang anak ko kaya tigilan mo na sya."

Nagulat ako sa pagkakasabi nyang yun.

Pumasok ako ng school ng tulala. Hindi ko napansin na tinatawag na pala ako ni couz. Pumasok ako sa room na halos walang nakikita.

" Everyone listen! next next week will be your enter-high. All highschools here in manila have a competition in different field ok. In academic and extra curricular. I hope isa man lang dito sa inyo ay makasali. If you have any inquiries just take a look  the full information in announcement board ok. Another thing is. Dean already posted the top in different class. Tingnan nyo baka isa sa inyo may napasama dito. Actually top yun ng buong stem  ok. " anya ma'am.

Nagdiscuss lang si ma'am. Wala din akong masyadong naintindihan dahil hindi din naman ako nakinig. Iniisip ko pa din yung ginawa ko sa  mom ni josh.

Flashback________

" Sure tita." anya ko sabay tayo at pagtangko sa isang basong tubig na nakapatong sa table dahilan para matapon sa kanya yung tubig.

" You are such a bitch!" pasigaw nya sa akin habang ako naman kumaway patalikod sign ng pagpapaalam. Narealize ko lang na parang mali yung ginawa ko habang naglalakad."
