s.g. ~ lost

"Alright, we lost em'. C'mon, they won't be gone for long." I said.

I stood up and looked around for Steven. He was no where to be seen. I must've lost him while we were running away.

"Oh no." I said. "Steven?" I called out for him but there was no answer.

"Fuck." I cussed.

He's probably scared to death right now and I lost him. What is wrong with me?

I went to look for him. I kept thinking about if he was hurt or taken away or extremely lost.

I kept calling his name while I walk around.

"Steven!" But still no reply. But I couldn't give up. I can't lose him.

"Steven! Are you there?" I turn to a path and he wasn't there.

"Damnit! Steven, where the hell are you?"

I searched and searched until I almost lost hope. Then, I saw a silhouette of someone from afar. They then stepped into the light and it was Steven.

I sighed in relief. "Steven!" I called out. He saw me and looked absolutely relieved. He rushes to me and hugs me, tight.

"Oh my God, here you are. I was scared to death." He said. I could feel his whole body tremble and I could hear the worry in his voice.

"It's alright, Steven. I'm so sorry. I'm sorry I left you." I whispered into his ear, hugging him back.

"I didn't know what to do when we got chased. I just hid but then I lost you." He stammered. "Hey, it's alright now. We found each other. It's okay." I said.

"Shh, don't worry. Let's finish this quickly so we can get outta here, okay?" I asked. Steven nodded rapidly. "Yeah, okay."

"Alright, come on." I said but he stopped me.

"Umm, can I hold onto you? I don't want to get lost again. This place is creepy." He said.

I smiled and held his hand.

"Let's hurry now."
