Four Days Later. . .

Tommy brought the cardigan closer to himself as a cold wind hit his back, making the teen shiver. He held a map in his hand, slowly walking through the sewers of L’manburg on silent feet. He didn’t know if anyone comes down here regularly, or if anyone comes down here at all- well other than Ghostbur. And for Tommy he was avoiding the ghost of his brother too, since he was horrible at keeping things to himself.

What would happen if Ghostbur saw him down here? The whole country would know within hours that Tommy was around, not in exile where he was supposed to be. So, he quietly walked through the tunnels to find a place to start digging. While he was looking around Pogtopia, he found a huge stash of TNT in one of the rooms, enough to at least leave a huge impact on a good portion of L’manburg. Of course, Tommy wanted to do more than just blow up part of L’mrburg. He wanted the country gone.

He’d been playing with the idea of giving his eldest brother a visit, seeing as the piglin hybrid didn’t like L’manburg as well, even going as far as to release withers onto the country. Technoblade would be a good partner to help with destroying L’manburg. That is, if he can get Technoblade to talk to him. He sighed, looking at one of the sewer walls and the map he had in his hand.

This was right under the presidential office, Tommy couldn’t help but smile, flicking his wrist and instead of a map in his hand was a glistening stone pickaxe. He had made quite a few, knowing his project was a big one. He also found a lot of weapons in Pogtopia, left behind and forgotten by the Pogtopians that used to live there. He started chipping away at the wall, making a small tunnel before starting to create a huge room.

He tried to stay as silent as possible as he worked, always looking over his shoulder in case Ghostbur, or anyone, showed up unannounced. He was nervous, and he had a right to be. If he was found they could give him back to Dream, and there was no saying what that monster would do to him once he got Tommy within his grasp again.

He had already ripped any freedom Tommy had felt away, his back now feeling weightless due to the loss of his wings. His heart sank at the thought of them. He was still full of anger over it, and he had promised himself he would get his revenge on Dream, make him go through what he forced Tommy to go through. Maybe he’d even make Dream go through worse.

Tommy broke out of his dark thoughts, looking back towards the opening to the room he was creating. The faster he got this done, the sooner he could leave and continue with his plan. He’d finish the room, put the TNT inside and held it up until he actually attacked L’manburg. Taking a deep breath he looked back towards the cobble he was trying to remove, hoping that his plan would work.

Later That Night. . .

Tommy shivered violently as he trekked through the snowy biome, his dull eyes fixed on the house before him. He knew that his older brother lived near his exile, so it wasn’t too hard to figure out where the piglin hybrid lived. He walked up the steps to the house, teeth chattering as he raised his fist to knock.

But before the blond could strike the wood the door swung open. Technoblade stared at him, an unhappy frown on his face. “What are you doing here?” Tommy smiled, still shivering from the cold.

“H-Hello to you too, Techno!” Tommy started, his blue eyes looking inside Technoblades house, seeing the fireplace that would definitely warm him up, “C-Can I come i-in?” They stood there for a long time, Technoblade looking the other over before sighing in defeat and moving out of the way. As soon as he was allowed in the house Tommy bolted for the fireplace, sitting in front of it and breathing out in relief. Technoblade walked over to the couch, sitting down behind Tommy.

“What are you doing all the way out here, aren't you supposed to be in exile right now or something?” The teen paused at the mention of exile. His blue dull eyes clouded as he looked back towards the other brother.

“No, I’m never going back.” Techno looked at the other puzzled.

“Well… ok.” Looking back to the fireplace the room was engulfed in silence. It was that way for a long moment, so long Tommy almost felt himself slip into much-needed slumber. But his brother was curious and had many questions, along with he wanted to know why Tommy had randomly showed up on his doorstep this late at night. “So, what brings you here?” He finally asked.

“I… I need your help.” Techno huffed at this.

“Yeah? With what?”

“Getting rid of L’manburg, for good.” The room grew tense after this confession, so thick that Tommy wished he had worded his answer differently, or maybe slowly worked his way to his end goal. He could tell Technoblade was even more confused, maybe even regretting his choice in letting the teen into his house.

“Why would you want that?” Technoblades voice was soft as he spoke, as if he knew that Tommy was on the verge of losing his shit at that very moment. Tommy has been that way for a while now, slowly building up his emotions to seem okay since Wilbur’s death. Maybe he didn’t hide his emotions very well and everyone could tell when he was about to burst, he didn’t know.

“You were right, Techno. Government is a problem, one I tend to destroy.” Tommy’s eyes looked at the fire before him. “Wilbur was right to do what he did, and I see that now.”

“How come you’re hiding your wings?” He must have just realized Tommy had the blue cardigan on, thinking the younger way hiding them in it. Technoblade stood up as he asked this question, making Tommy slightly panic and stand himself and turning around to face Technoblade. His eyes hardened as Techno kept walking over to him. Technoblade stared at his younger brother, his blue eyes questioning what the other was doing. “You know you don’t have to hide them right?” Tommy knew he didn’t need to hide them, he hadn’t since he joined the SMP. But now, the teen wished he had. Maybe then… maybe then Dream wouldn’t have cut his wings off.

“I know…” Tommy spoke quietly, his eyes drooping as he looked towards the wooden ground.

“Then why are you hiding them?”

“I’m not.” Technoblade glared. Tommy looked up towards Techno with a sorrow-filled expression, knowing Technoblade was trying to be patient. He was lucky the piglin hybrid had let him into the house, let alone tolerate this irritating conversation.

Without words Tommy took his cardigan off, dropping it onto the ground. He couldn’t help but cross his arms as if he was holding himself before turning around to show Techno the truth. Technoblade’s eyes widened as he realized that his wings were gone.

“Tommy…?” A sniffle came from Tommy as he wiped a few tears off of his cheeks. It was no use crying about it anymore, it was done and there was nothing Tommy could do about it. What Tommy wasn’t expecting was Technoblade to pull the depressed teen into a warm hug, making the blond freeze up before he realized he wasn’t being attacked. He quickly reciprocated the hug, one he realized.
“I’m sorry this happened to you.” Technoblade softly said, his grip on Tommy growing.

“I-It’s not your fault… it’s just weird without them... You know?” Techno sadly smiled at the little brother's words.

“How… How did this happen?” Technoblade quietly asked, afraid that his question, as if he was afraid he’d scare the teen off if he hadn’t. Tommy took in a deep breath in before he spoke again. It was his brother after all (even if he had tried to kill him), and if there was anyone that he could tell it was him.

“Dream… he- um, he cut them off.” Technoblade stiffened at his words.

“I’m sorry to hear that… This shouldn’t have happened.” Tommy’s bottom lip wobbled, his grip on Technoblade growing as he sniffled back a whimper. “I’ll help you Tommy, I can tell this is something you really want.”

“Thank you.” Tommy whispered out. And if he cried a little at the fact that after so long he finally had someone he could actually confide in, then that was for he and Technoblade to know alone.
