Sitting in the great hall for dinner eating, i wasn't though. i did not have an appetite. we all talked.

moving my eyes to where all the proffers sat, mattheo actually sitting there. not eating, his brown curly hair laying on top of his forehead, his eyes scanning the room.

then landing on me.

we kept eye contact for what seemed like forever.

feeling as i was as small as a mouse, as its prey locks it's eyes on the small creature ready to bounce and end there life. and i was this small creature at this moment.

feeling a headache sensation, my eyes transfixed on his chestnut eyes. prying into my eyes. i wanted to look away. but something was keeping my eyes locked on him

the headache started to pound like a bell ringing.

we both snapped out of the trance when dumbledore started to speak. catching everyone's attention.

the headache went away. just like the snap of a finger.

that would be something while i was laying in bed that would keep me awake

looking at my plate, the empty, white plate.

listening to dumbledore talk, then say their names. the names that haunt my already haunted mind.

"vincella grindelwald"

"gavin grindelwald"

my eyes shot up at both of them. both standing beside dumbledore, smiling, there eyes looking around the great hall. making sure to gain both of their dominance.

i quickly drew my eyes too mattheo. who stayed emotionless. concrete face. not breaking. how could i know what he was thinking ? i wanted to know.

looking at my friends. their happy expression disappeared, and worried eyes looked up at the two siblings.

"i ran into them last night..."

elphias face snapped towards me. "and you didn't care to tell us ?!?" he said in disbelief

"i'm sorry—" i got cut off

"you stupid bitch" he hissed at me. i don't understand what that was for. my face turned into a flare, fire, alighting my mood

cerelia snapped at him

"elphias zabini don't you dare talk to MY BESTFRIEND" she hissed back at him. stern look on her face, standing up quickly, grabbing ahold of his ear tightly then dragging him out of the great hall with one hand

i laughed, my white teeth peeking through my red lips "i love her" i giggled

everyone else started laughing, even the siblings, elphias made such a fool of himself

a/n— i would try and write more but i am too tired. i would have gotten a chapter out sooner but i OD awhile ago.
