Chapter 15

(Her outfit later)

The rest of the week wasn't much different. I got closer to my brothers, Luciano and Vincenzo were busy most of the time. Throughout the week Alfonso has been taking me out every once in a while.

We would spend the day together either outside in Venice or in the garden. We would talk about anything that was on our mind. It was nice to spend time with him and get to know him more. Yesterday he told me that the rest of the family will be coming on Saturday.

It's Friday night as I'm sitting in my room and finishing up my art project. As I'm drawing I can't seem to get this Pierre guy out of my head. I tried looking him up on social media to see if I can find him on any of the platforms but I can't find anything about him.

All I know is what Isla told me and that's not enough because all he does is stare at me during lunch. I started eating lunch outside of the cafeteria and the girls didn't mind since we sat outside.

Speaking of girls Mia started to become a little more comfortable around me and so have I. They don't give off a bad vibe and I just hope it stays that way.

I went to visit mom's grave today since it's been a week since we buried her. I told her about my week that I was here. How Alfonso and I have been getting closer, also the stories he told me about her. I told her about the girls. I also told her about the bonding moments I have with my brothers.

I got out of my thoughts when I heard Alessio call me down to eat dinner.

I greeted Julia once I got to the dining room and then sat down in my chair, so did everyone else. I've gotten a little bit closer with the whole family. Alessandro is still as closed off as ever. I have been spending a lot of time with Gio and Enzo as they make it their priority to bother me after school.

After dinner I helped Julia with dishes and cleaning. It was just something I did and she couldn't stop me. After that was done I told the rest of the family that I was heading to my room and made my way there.

According to Alfonso the rest of the family is supposed to be here at 10:00 in the morning considering they live like 30 minutes away from us.

I went into the closet and prepared an outfit for tomorrow just in case I wake up late. I also decided that I was going to take a shower in the morning after I woke up.

After getting everything ready and in order I went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I made my way to the bed and went to sleep.

My alarm rang at 8:30 and I got up after a couple of minutes of my alarm ringing. I made my way to the bathroom to shower and get ready.

After showering I wrapped a towel around my body and went to my closet. I wanted to keep things simple when meeting the family so I chose a beige top with high waisted white pants. I tucked the shirt into the pants and secured it with a belt.

I put my regular necklaces on, my mom's rings and my necklace. I decided to put my hair in a half up half down hairstyle. I kept a few hair loose in the front to frame my face and added pearl hair pins on the top half of my hair.

For makeup I barely did anything trying to keep it as natural as possible. A little bit of moisturizer, highlighter, mascara and lipgloss was all I did to give me a dewy glow. To finish everything off
I wore a pair of black heels.

When I was done I looked at the digital clock by my bed to see how much time I had left. I was glad to see that I finished with 15 minutes to spare.

I grabbed my phone and made my way downstairs where everybody was sitting waiting for the family to come so we can have breakfast. Some were wearing decent outfits like me while others, *cough Lorenzo and Giovanni cough*, were wearing casual comfy clothes.
