loreli had almost completely forgotten about what josh had done to her, due to the excitement from coming home.
but now the adrenaline was gone and she felt all the feelings.
she felt empty without josh, but at least this time she wasn't justifying his actions. she finally realized that him hurting her was wrong. very, very wrong. on top of that, he had cheated on her. which just added salt to the wounds, but atleast she knew.
when loreli woke up, she looked in her mirror to see that neither her face nor neck had bruised, which was surprising because she bruises very easily. her wrists were bruised, very badly.
but luckily it's january, so it's cold. makes it easy to hide them.
lia was awake for orientation, which she had to get to school an hour early for and then after that, she had to go to school. she was scared, scared people would stare. but at this point, she was used to the staring. her anxiety wasn't though.
after doing her hair and makeup, lia decided to text her squad.

lia left to pick an outfit out, which was hard because her clothes were in suitcases. she eventually settled on something like this:
