Lorelai Allen was relaxing in her very comfortable bed, binging modern family, finally not cold for once.
why you ask?
because matt was practically on top of her.
his head was on her boobs, his entire body overlapped on hers, his left leg flopping off the side of her right leg.
thankfully he wasn't completely on her, because lia might have gotten a heatstroke.
the night before he was complaining about a headache he had, apparently it was very bad. he said it was a pounding headache and the pounding never went away.
lia being the caring person she is, gave him some advil and kept making him drink water, thinking the reason he had the headache was because he was dehydrated.
lorelai didn't end up getting any sleep that night. not because of matt though. he was fine, he just stayed mounted on her chest all night.
no she didn't get sleep because of a few things.
1, jacob was constantly texting her pictures of apartments and telling her to rate them because apparently she's always brutally honest.
2, she was planning an entire tour with not much help. she and jacobs manager was out with her kids and the label company wasn't much help, so lorelai did it mostly on her own. that includes set lists, dates, busses, etc.
3, she couldn't help but worry. about matt, jake moving out, her step dad beating her ass if he found out about matt staying over. which i don't know how he would he's very against home cameras and was on a business trip in chicago.
but anyways, enough of last night.
lorelais laughing at modern family was interrupted by mat abruptly waking up.
"good morning! how you feeling?" she asked him quietly but he wasn't listening. halfway through her sentence matt got up and raced to the bathroom.
lorelai stood up and walked to the bathroom, seeing her boyfriend puke his guts out in her toilet. she immediately sat down next to him and rubbed his back until he was done.
after matt had cleaned up he walked back to the bed and layed down on the side against the wall, his hands covering his face.
he really didn't feel good, especially since he just embarrassed himself by throwing up randomly at his girlfriends house. and to make it worse, it was the first time he had stayed over as her boyfriend.
matthew was coming up with an apology when lorelai came back with a plastic caddy with a bunch of medical shit in it.
"bro i'm so sorry-" he started but was cut off by her.
"dont apologize, you can control when you get sick," she whispered while helping him sit up.
before he could even reply, lia had stuck a thermometer under his tounge.
after a few moments, lia had her diagnosis.
"you've got the flu, babe" she whispered again, handing him more advil and a water bottle.
"how'd you learn to do that?" he asked while lia made him move to the other side of the bed, placing a trash can down.
"my mom was a nurse, remember?" she asked with a giggle as she continued to make him more comfortable. "plus, when she died i had to learn how to take care of myself."

over the hours, matt and lia had binge watched a lot. brooklyn 99, family guy, modern family, american dad, all the hulu classics.
matt was feeling better but doctor lia still ordered he stay in bed.
matthew fell asleep not too long ago, cuddled up to his girlfriends legs.
he would've been in the same position as earlier if he could, but he couldn't. because lorelai was sitting up, designing the poster for the tour on her laptop.
jacob was on the same site, helping her design it. he could've been on the phone, but lorelai didn't want him to know matt was there. so she locked her doors and said she wasn't up for socializing.

guys. the book is gonna end soon. i have a feeling you guys will not enjoy the ending. but there will most def be a sequel because i can't let go of my books!
