October 19th, 2014:

I read the signs a few more times, not understanding what they meant, or more like not believing what it implied. I then look more closely at the holders of the sign and recognise my dad and sister. That was when I let all my emotions tumble out. I start to cry uncontrollably and fall to the ground. I could feel some of the boys crowd around me and pat me on the back.

"It's ok, be happy," I could hear Jimin whisper.

After a few seconds, I wipe my tears and stand up tall again.

"I'm sorry," I chuckle, resulting in coos and cheers from the fans, "I guess I wanted to thank all of you here tonight, the boys that have acted as my family in Korea, but also my dad and sister that have never ceased to support me through everything.... The trust and support they gave me is something I'll never be able to repay...." I wipe my flowing tears again, "thank you ARMY, I love you all!" I finish my speech not able to continue, before crouching down again trying to reign in my emotions.

I feel someone come behind me and give me a big hug.

"I love you Y/N," whispered Jungkook.

I smile and squeeze his hand in thanks.

We finish the show and I run backstage. Tears were still flowing down my face, I wanted to see my family.

I get to the lounge area, and I'm met with staff holding tissues, water bottles, and fans. I take a few tissues and accept a staff handing me a water bottle.

"Are my family coming backstage?" I ask Sejin once I spot him.

"They're on their way right now," he smiles warmly.

"Good surprise?" Seokjin says wrapping his arm around me.

"The best," I smile, "did you guys plan it?"

"Well, actually..." Namjoon says sitting down, "Kai was the one to bring it up in August and we all pitched in to pay for their flight over, but he put in the most".

Gosh, that man... he was exceeding my expectations at every turn.

"Y/N!" I hear someone scream down the hall in a French accent.

I immediately recognised my sister's voice and rush out to hug her.

"That was so good," she says while we swayed hugging each other tightly, "I've missed you so much".

"You have no idea how much I've missed you," I say, just taking in the fact I was hugging my sister right now. Even if we had had a rocky couple of years, she would always remain my sister that I loved dearly.
