This story takes place in the beginning of the season
_______________

Ava's POV
It had been a long time since I was here. It was different.

It wasn't like Michigan or New Jersey or Vancouver.

It was like a whole different world.

———

When I walked outside I was hit with a bit of cold. I expected that though since it was the fall time.

I managed to get a Uber that took me to a random place.

I didn't really remember much of Toronto so I didn't really know where I was going.

Somehow I ended up in front of this restaurant.

I was going to walk inside to ask where the nearest hotel is when I bumped into someone.

"Are you ok" they asked.

I nodded and looked up.

There was a guy, he was really tall wearing a beanie. He had dark brown hair and brown eyes. Probably in his mid twenty's.

I could see tattoos on his arms. It looked like he had a whole sleeve of them.

"What are you doing on the streets alone" he asked.

I just stared at him. I wasn't sure what to say.

Did I risk telling a stranger why I was here and have a chance of getting the police called.

"I'm not gonna hurt you I just wanna know if you ok" he said.

I looked down.

"I ran away" I said.

It sounded almost like a whisper but I know he head me because his eyes went wide, "what do you mean you ran away,"

I explained the story to him and why I came here. "So your telling me you flew here by yourself from New Jersey."

I nodded.

"You have to call your parents" he said.

"NO, I'm already unwanted and all I'm gonna do is get yelled at. It's not like they care anyways" I said.

I could tell he felt bad for me.

"How about I take you in, I'm not gonna leave you on the streets alone. You can stay with me."

I agreed.

"I'm Auston by the way" the man said.

"I'm Ava."

When we got to his apartment and he showed me the first room.

It was far nicer than the one in Jack's apartment.

"Do you want help unpacking."

I shook my head no.

Jack's POV
When I got home from practice Ava wasn't there. I was really confused because I told her not to leave.

I called out her name but there was no answer.

I decided to track her phone because I didn't know what else to do.

I opened the app and put in her phone.

That last place it was seen was the airport.
