Third person's POV
Steph, Mitch, Willy, Michael, John, Aryne, Jack ( Campbell ), Justin, Jake and Alex had all gotten together without Auston or Ava knowing.

They were planning to reach out to her family and try to convince them to let Auston adopt her.

They knew the chances of them saying yes were slim but they still wanted to try.

It was worth a shot.

It was really the only thing that could do.

There was no way Auston could adopt Ava without her parents signature.

"Here goes nothing" Steph said.

Mitch took out his phone and DM'd Ava's brother Jack.

They devils to do him since he was verified so it was more likely Jack would see it.

'Hey I know we don't know each other but I heard your sister is missing and I know where you can find her. If you could come to Toronto I can show you where she is.'

He sent the message and everyone waited fir a response.

He didn't answer at first so they assumed he didn't see it.

"Do you think he'll answer" Steph asked.

"No idea" Mitch said.

Sure it was a stretch but maybe he would see it.

Who knows.

If was a little later and everyone was just chilling on the couch.

Mitch had gotten a notification on his phone.

Jack had DM'd him back.

"Guys he answered" he yelled.

"For real."

Mitch nodded.

"What did he say" Willy asked.

'Thank you so much we have been trying to find her for a while now. My family and I booked a flight to Toronto. We'll be there tomorrow.'

"I didn't think he would answer" Michael said.

"Me either."

Jack was sat on the couch watching tv scrolling through Instagram.

He hasn't notice he got a DM until he accidentally hit his messages.

He opened it and saw the message from Mitch.

"I know where Ava is" he yelled.

Everyone and running into the room.

"You do" Luke yelled.

Jack nodded, "I got a DM from Mitch Marner he said he knows where she is. He said to come to Toronto."

"Then I guess we should go to Toronto" Ellen said.

Jack replied to Mitch as his family bought tickets.

"Why do you think Ava is in Toronto" Luke questioned.

"No idea buddy" Quinn answered.

"It's her home" Jack answered.

His brothers looked at him funny.

"It make sense now."

"That's where Ava was born she has all her memories there, that's why she ran away there. It's her home. It may not be ours but if is hers."

Then it made sense to Luke and Quinn.

At first they thought Toronto was an odd place for their sister to be.

But once Jack explained it, it made sense to them.

He was right.

It was her home.

She had all her memories there.

Her first steps, her first word, her first time skating.

It was her happy place.

The place she felt the most safe.

We all have a connection to our home town and house. Ava's just happened to be in Toronto a place she no longer lives in.
