“Palagi ka nang nagpupuyat, you need to get some sleep or else you will not do better at school.” Imelda scolded Bongbong when he woke up passed seven in the morning yet he’s still sleepy. Writing his second draft of his manuscripts took enough of his sleep time resulting to the Bongbong Imelda is scolding today.

Dagdag pa ni Imelda, Imee just smiled while watching his sleepy little brother get scolded by their mother.

“Ay, ito na nga pala ’yong tanghalian mo, I’ve put many vegetables there to make sure that you’ll get enough energy for what sport you join.”

Bongbong replied and nodded, this sleepyhead then finished his meal and prayed before exiting the kitchen.

We’d love to watch you—” she didn’t even finished her sentence when Bongbong cutted through.

Napatingin si Bongbong kay Ferdinand nang marinig niya iyon, his eyes widened and he got slapped by his realization.

“Your works are beautiful, but you need a lot of improvement. You writing is fine by me, I was like you back then. Just do what makes you happy, that’s the point of being young.” He drank his coffee again, napaiwas naman ng tingin si Bongbong at napangiti.

He never let anyone read his stories, but the feeling of being complimented by his father was enough to make him continue for his work. After all, a person can’t really influence another, if another can’t influence one another.

“All team participants of the girls’ two hundred sprint, kindly assemble yourselves to our track now.” The announcer announced while the crowd goes wild in the boys one hundred sprint.

It was in the middle of the afternoon.
While the girls for the two hundred sprint run prepare themselves at the starting line, Sara tied her green bandana on her forehead as she lift up her spirits.

Sara then putted some foundation and liptint on her face.

It consist of a V-neck white t-shirt which corners are red. In the right side of the chest area embroidered the school logo. It also consist of red jogging pants, on the right side embroidered in white thread the initials of the Epiphany Christian Academy.

Pia replied and fixed Sara’s hair.

“It’s the intramurals after all, I want to look good for once.

Pia is on the white team while Sara is on the green. Leni, on the other hand belongs to the pink team together with the other track and field club members.

“I’m getting nervous.”

As she walks through the starting line, she took a deep breath and squeezed the bear stuffed toy that she holds on her hand. She’s getting nervous, her heart is pounding like it never pounded before, sweat dropping from her arm unto her wrist where a pink ribbon symbolizing hear color and team was tied.

“Alright, stay on guard, girls.

“Next is the girls’ two hundred sprint run.” The announcer announced again, making everyone gazed upon the girls. They all looked at one girl—and that girl who they adore is Leni.

“Don’t you think that this headbands looks kind of tacky?”

Bongbong yawned as he slaps himself to keep him from waking up, lumapit naman sa kaniya si Isko at humawak ito sa kaniyang balikat. Natatawa siyang sumaad.

Isko smirked.

“No way!”

“Come on, let me read it!” Isko insisted once more, smiling while forcing Bongbong to say yes by ticking him on the armpit and hips.

“Cut it out!” Bongbong laughed as Isko tickled him.

“Now, for the girls’ two hundred sprint run.” All eyes are on the girls setting for the run, the crowd then became quiet as the facilitator held the whistle while on the side of the starting line.

“Ready...”

“Get set...”

The sound of the whistle were then heard.
