Chapter 13

VICTORIA'S POV

I wake up alone in my bedroom, I roll out my bed yawning and go into my bathroom, and stand under the shower letting the hot water relax my aching body before washing it with soap while thinking about last night.

***knock knock knock***

I turn the shower tap off grabbing my robe and get out just as my bedroom door opens, Ajex walks in while talking on his phone "Alex called" he says after hanging up the call

"What's that??" I frown

"My brother, he runs surveillance for you"

"I don't care...why are you in my room Aj" I walk to my drawers and grab a black lace lingerie set putting it on before turning to him, Ajex gulps looking at me

"Aj!!"

"Yeah uhm something happened at the Red Hotel in the city last night, apparently a girl was attacked and...."

"That's got nothing to do with me....Victor will handle it, he's the owner after all but thank you" I cut him off walking into my closet to put on something confortable since I'll be spending today in my room if not the theater

"Uh huh...Jason, Jaden and Jalen were seen walking in the hotel and nothing appeared in the cctv footage after until morning when they walked out" that grabbed my attention, what were they doing there??

I walk back out frowning "what were they doing there that took them an entire night to handle??... what about the girl?? Where is she, did she check out??" I bombast him with questions walking out of my room, he follows

"No, just moved to another room....want me to look into what they were doing in the hotel last night??"

"No it's probably not that important.... thank you" I wave him off staring at the door just as the boys walk in, they freeze for a moment when they notice me like they did the last time they disappeared, I walk down the stairs to them smiling

"Morning"

"Hey V"

"Hey babe"

"Hey Victory...how are you feeling??" Jalen asks playing with my hair, something he does when he's annoyed at someone or because of something

"A little grumpy" I shrug testing their guilty conscience

"Sorry we weren't there when you woke up this morning" Jalen whispers still playing with my hair, I frown looking at the other two just looking at me

What's bothering you three huh??

"The Red hotel called,  said something happened there...you guys got any idea what could have happened??" I look at them,

"Not really, didn't they mention it??"" Jaden shrugs, I shake my head no, Jalen is the Gate Keeper.....surely they know something so why are they not telling me??

"I'm gonna head upstairs for a quick shower...see you V" Jason says before rushing up the stairs followed by Jaden

"Later Victory" Jalen kisses my cheek before following after his brother, I dial Ajex's number, he picks up almost immediately

"Vic??"

"Find more information on the girl who got attacked at the hotel...I want to know everything from her shoe size to how many times she sneezes per week" I hang up after staring in the direction the three left in

"Is it not unlike them to ignore you like this?? Could it be that they have found themselves a new sex toy??" Sophia taunts walking down the stairs with her minions...Rebecca and Sarah next to her
