Chapter 27

VICTORIA'S POV

I yawn for the nth time rolling off the bed and crouch down between the baby cribs and start swinging them trying to lull them back to bed, two months ago I gave birth to two beautiful boys with Asian features for some reason which freaked me out at first because their father is not Asian but he says his grandmother from his dad's side was of Asian origin and Dr Phillips agreed that its possible for his offspring to have Asian features, it don't make sense but I chose to go with it because I don't have any other theory.

Anyway Xander and Xavier have been crying their eyes out since...well since they were born, they'd sleep for a while then cry and I haven't slept since last night just looking after them alone since Emily was asleep to help me with them and their father...well he's very stressed with work, it gets them more cranky. The door to my room opens and Emily walks in.

"Emily, they won't stop crying" I whine looking up at my mother in law, she and I had gotten really close after that day when she acted like a creep

"They need their fathers" she says taking one of the twins out of the crib, I shake my head at her words and look down at my baby, she sometimes says weird stuff like one time she asked me how I feel about the Stephen boys and even went as far as to show me their pictures, I mean they're hot and it's normal to feel some attraction towards them but I'm married and I love my husband....I think

"They don't stop crying even when he's here or holding them" I tell her taking Xavier out of his crib, she just shakes her head, usually with twins one cries a lot and the other doesn't but my twins cry a lot together, it's like they're ganging up on me

"Mrs Black here is your coffee" a maid walks in with a tray and places it on the table infront of me, my husband feels satisfied only if I drink coffee or tea every morning and gets very mad if I don't claims he wants me to be healthy and awake at all times for our babies so now I have coffee as part of my daily morning routine

"Thank you" I say still trying to get Xavier to stop crying and walk to the balcony, I never even bothered to ask about his obsession with this morning tea thing and just drank it since everyone in this house his mother included does what he wants

When the twins finally fall asleep Emily and I carefully place them back into their cribs before sitting down Sighing loudly in relief, I lean forward to grab my coffee and drink it but Emily does the same causing the tray to fall down and spill the coffee on the floor and the cups to break, I hiss looking up at the two sleeping boys scared to disturb them

"Oh sorry" she says crouching down to pick up the broken cup

"Don't Emily I'll call Sarah to clean it up and bring me another coffee" I try to stop her

"No it's okay child, she's probably busy and it's too hot outside for a coffee as it is"

"Your son won't be very happy about this" I tell her

"My son trusts you, just tell him you drank the coffee and the cup fell by mistake"

"Okay"

"Good, now that's solved go get rest...we're going shopping later today" she says excited

"Why??" I frown

"There's a business conference in a week and you're going to attend it with my son, now hurry before your little demons wake up" I chuckle standing up and jump on my bed, snaking under the covers I rest my head on my extreme comfortable pillow and immediately catch a plane to dream land

I snap my eyes open when I hear footsteps in the room and sit up

"Oh you're awake, I was about to wake you up" Emily smiles
