Chapter 23

It's been two days since I got here, I've even changed hotels three time to make sure I'm not followed but no Cassandra. It's either the person who kidnapped her is very smart or he's just hiding her in plain sight....definitely the second one. I move away from the window and walk back to my laptop

"Let's see where in plain sight can a criminal hide" I hacked a satellite again and used it to get a view of the entire Miami, I groan seeing nothing but clubs, hotels, churches, hospitals and parks.....wait a minute is that a hotel?? Outside the city?? I grab a chair and sit focusing back on my laptop as I search for the said building punching into everything reflective to get a view of it

***Ding***

My phone lights up with a message, I grab it from the nightstand and turn it on to see what's in it, a video from the airport's cctv footage pops up, I grab my cup of coffee pressing play on the screen. The footage is from two days back hours after my arrival, it shows Dominic and the boys walking out of it into their cars

That was expected

I switch off my phone and focus back on the laptop screen to get a closer look of the area, and stand up to get ready while the satellite feed downloads, I grab my knives securing each on either side of my boots then my two guns on either sides of my hips, once I'm done getting ready I light up a cigarette and put it in an ash tray on the nightstand letting it burn clearing the room off my scent

***beep beep...beep beep***

I press play on the video and frown when it shows a building just outside the city with guards at every entrance and corner, zooming into the building I could see some movement on the top floor

"Bravta" I snarl when two Russian men coming into view pushing Cassandra inside the room then down to kneel infront of a man, I search the room for anything reflective that I can use to get a closer look at his face since I couldn't see him with his back facing the window but nothing

I shut the laptop close and toss it inside its case, throw on my black leather jacket and grab my armor bag before walking out, I take the stairs all the way down to the hotel's garage trying to avoid the cameras in the elevator....not in a hurry of course, the only reason I'm saving her ass is because her boyfriends aka the men I love are blaming me for her kidnapping that is all

I get into my car and race to the secluded building probably filled with Russians as we speak, Jalen is slacking at his job since miss fragile it would seem and now I have to clean after their asses, out of nowhere two SUV's pull up infront of my car, I slam on the breaks quickly turning the steering wheel to not crush into them and reverse, another SUV stops behind me blocking me in, I groan leaning back on my seat with my hand on my gun waiting for whoever it is to get out and come to his death, Dom and Drake first step out of the SUV behind me, I groan more when Jaden, Jalen, Jason, Alex and Ajex step out of the two SUV's infront of me

Rolling the window down "Shouldn't you be looking for your girlfriend??" I ask no one in particular

"We are, what brought you to Miami??" Jalen asks

Ever the talker ey

"The beaches and amazing climate of course, you?? Please don't tell me you were worried about me" the sarcastic tone in my voice makes them angry

"No....just thought you might have hid Cas here" Jaden says looking around "..where is she?? I know you know where she is, even if you didn't kidnap her" he adds walking over to my car and leans over my window, the position making him look hotter than necessary

Chuckling "Did you atleast bring guns??"

"Victori...."

"The more time I spend here talking to you the more blood Cassandra loses so move your cars....where did you get them by the way?? Who in your age drives suburbans" I scowl at them starting the car, I mean for real I'm out here driving Audi's latest model and they're chasing after me in suburbans‽‽ they reverse out of my way letting me drive through
