-So you're telling me you saw, Desire Erwin going around the city? The shadow asked
-Yep, can you tell how is it possible? Didn't he require Erwin's body to be able to have a physical form? Haru was a bit worried
-Certainly, but if he somehow found a new vessel for himself then he can have physical form that way too. I just don't know where he could find one, he can't posses people, well maybe he can possess Erwin's body if he is filled with desire energy, but otherwise I can't explain this.... "Shadow" was confused herself, it was messing with basic logic.
-I feel weakened... I think they have returned, will there be a way to get them back into our bodies somehow? The blonde girl's tone was almost like a pleading one
-Hm... Well, I suppose those vessels are supplied by some source, if that source stops suppling them, the vessels will slowly die. From what I've seen, they are supported by desire energy, who's? I have no idea, but without that kind of support, they'll have no choice but to return, or they'll just fade in thin air. She explained, looking at a TV that showed news of a boy running around the city and making trouble.
-I don't know if we'll be able to fight like last time, even if we defeated them before with what power we had, now it seems that they became stronger. Erwin's eyes showed dark circles, telling that he was both weakened and tired.
-Erwin... Haru said worried for his current condition
-You don't have to do anything, the other soulworkers are of good help too, you should rest in the corner for now. Take some time for yourselves. The shadow tried to reassure them
-I hardly trust you, but please take care of Stella for me, she can get herself in trouble for others. Haru's expression was sad, showing just a little of what was actually going on in her soul.
-Okay... She nodded
She then ran away to find the rest of the soulworkers. They were discussing something with Toru.
-Yeah and some purple energy was floating from him, his eyes were red and he had a complete different aura from the Desire Erwin we know! Stella said
-Guys! "Shadow" ran to them
-What is it? We were discussing something very important now. Iris crossed her arms
-You probably heard the knews about Desire Erwin, they are all over the TVs. And Haru felt weakened too, this might mean that Desire Haru is somewhere too. She explained
-She's right, last time I encountered her, she looked dizzy! Jin said
-Then we should look for Desire Haru first, she is way more dangerous! Iris told them
The soulworkers and "Shadow" went around the city looking for the desireworker that left Haru's body. It took a while since she probably isolated herself like she always does.
After some time, they found her sitting with her head down on her knees, laying her back on a tree. Her hat was hiding her face.
-Hey, you! Iris' tone showed her anger burning inside her
No reply, it seemed that Desire Haru was probably in her own thoughts and ignored reality.
Iris glanced, but "Shadow" tapped her shoulder, her gestures translated to something like "Calm down please" and "Let me take care of it from here".
The creature walked closer to the girl that didn't even raise her head.
She sat on her knees.
-Desire Haru, right?... Why do you happen to be here? Is something the matter? She asked
Some moments of silence with no answer.
-Ugh, just let me finish it with her quickly! Iris summoned her hammer but Stella got in front of her.
-We don't hurt our friends!
-But, Stella she is not our friend, she's-
-She's still a Haru to me! Stella looked at Desire Haru, the desireworker raised her head just a little bit.
-Fine... Iris lowered her weapon
-Erwin... Help me find Erwin... Desire Haru said in a quite voice
-What..? Erwin? So you know about this too... The shadow looked at her
-Yes... I didn't actually exit Haru's body myself, Kent teleported me here, hoping that if I see Erwin like this, I'll join him, but I won't. I wanted to actually find you, it seems that you found me first, I need your help to get him back... Desire Haru explained and shed a tear
-I see... Don't worry, you'll be reunited
with him, but you'll need to give us a hand in this too. "Shadow" smiled
-If..It's Erwin, I'll do it... The desireworker got up from the ground and made eye contact with the shadow.
-Good, for now let's just get you home, we need a plan first, before we go on the battlefield.

When they reached home, Desire Haru looked around, the house wasn't the most beautiful in the world, but it was fancy enough.
-Please take a sit. "Shadow" pointed to a sofa
-Thanks... Desire Haru sighed
-So, you have a vessel just like Erwin or you're just some floating desire energy? She asked curious
-I'm just energy, Kent didn't give me a vessel, so I won't be able to stay here for long or I'll dissapear in thin air. Aren't you energy too? How are you still here? Desire Haru was confused
-Kent made me differently, I have a physical form, but it's not supplied by his magic, It's using my own, that's why I can't really use teleporting or anything. It's risky, even if I recover it quite fast, it's still not safe... The shadow looked at her bare hands
-Oh... Well, I hope I'll see Erwin before I fade away.. Desire Haru looked outside the window
-You won't dissapear, we still got plenty of time, even if you start fading away, if we return you back to Haru's body, you'll be back in one piece, don't be a drama queen, think of possibilities. "Shadow" frowned a little
-Right... It's just that I wish... I wish I was never a scum to him, even if he was a jerk the last time I saw him, he still showed some care for me. Desire Haru's tone turned sadder
-Girl, you need a therapist. The shadow girl laughed and patted Haru's right shoulder
-Don't make fun of me. Her eyes turned a bright red and gave her a dark look
-Ok, ok, just kidding, but you really need someone to listen to you, you're holding too much inside you. "Shadow" said
The desireworker didn't give her an answer and just looked away.
-Okay, you need some time alone... I can't leave you here by yourself, I'll just stay in the hall, you can rest until we come up with a plan..
-I don't need sleep... Desire Haru said
And with that the shadow left the room, leaving Haru by herself, well not really, but she was alone in the living room....
