Past Scars Pt. 1

Haru woke up and looked outside the window, her world was so bright, the skies of Grace City were so peaceful and lively. It almost felt unreal, because they were used to unclean paths and darkened skies, but Grace City made it feel like there was no war whatsoever... Peace... Yes, that's what everyone looks out for in this world, harmony, peace and not feeling lonely... For some it takes more, for some it does not, because they easily see the good stuff, but right now, with the vacuum and Kent disturbing the peace, it's hard to find such things... Struggle is normal, no need to be afraid, we all have our own issues to be solved, but this one, this is an issue that everyone has to face, which is what makes it so difficult...
Haru knew they won't be able to stay in this peace for long, he will make sure it won't.
The hope was at a low level, because everyone was afraid of him, even if some don't show such, they are.
No matter how much they try, it feels like a never ending war.
The blonde girl put her chin in one of her hands looking outside, thinking... She had trouble sleeping from everything that happened to her, it terrified her, it even gave her nightmares that she never talked about not even with Erwin.
Life is not always easy, but it goes on and we can't keep staying and worrying, when we have so much in our way....
She found it hard to come by, all those fears and the trauma she went through affected her badly. But no one says you can't heal, maybe time doesn't heal by itself, but with some work, it will feel like it. "There can't be good without bad" .
She tried to think that after it all ends, everything will be just fine or atleast almost there. It's alright to be afraid, it's okay to not want things to happen, sometimes these are just thoughts that randomly come by.
Haru felt a hand on her shoulder she turned around.
-Watcha looking at? Erwin winked
-Ooh, you are awake... I was just looking outside and thinking, that's all... She said
-You mean overthinking? Look, Haru, I know this times may seem difficult and harsh, but in the end it will all be fine, you will see. Just give it a chance. Erwin smiled
Haru smiled back, but she wasn't happy, but tried to hide it. She thought it hurts less.
-Wouldn't you like to go take a walk outside with me and the others? It'll make you feel a little greater ^^ . He forced a smile
-I want to focus on this war till it's finally over, I don't want to waste time with fun activities, I'm sorry.... She sighed
-So you call me a waste of time? I think you take things waaaay too seriously, like exagerately, you barely have time for yourself. Erwin sulked
-T-that's not w-what I meant! It's just that, I always wanted to protect and help humans... I never really payed attention to myself... Haru looked away
-Well, that's not healthy, you need to find time for yourself too, because you matter, no matter how you perceive yourself, you do matter. And we all care about you, even if some of them might not show it very well, they do care. And I do care the most. He said
-I don't have time for therapy, Erwin! Haru seemed disturbed by his words
-Why not? What's taking so much of your time?? He asked
-This war, the situation we are currently in! It drains all my energy, that what I have left it's not enough to use for myself... I feel stuck... I don't know how to explain... Haru bowed her head, looking at her bare hands
Erwin was worried about her condition, it messed around with her... He had to find a way to help her... But he couldn't, he didn't really understand what was going on inside her head(not that meme guys xD)...
He embraced her with both of his hands and hugged her tight, hoping for a response. He felt two hands wrap around him.
-Take as much time as you need, you don't have to be fully healed by tomorrow or something... And don't be scared, because I promised I won't leave you. And always come to me if anything doesn't feel right, I can try at least to help you... Erwin tried to comfort her
-T-Thank... You.. Haru cried on his jacket and got a grip of it.
-And stop being boring and go outside with us! Erwin laughed
Haru giggled through tears.
-Go, I'll come after you in a sec, just let me get ready! She dried her tears
Erwin ran outside and Haru was left alone in her room, changing....

Life isn't fair.

I'm sorry I haven't wrote in a while, but I developed a fear bc of my my ex toxic friend, I'm scared of getting to know people better bc I might get hurt in the end or I might get a relationship I don't want. I know it sounds weird, but it's been affecting me a lot these days... I'm sorry if I suddenly become inactive from social media, but I never had a good mental health and I never really was able to help myself... I don't ask for sympathy or anything, I'm just stating that I might become suddenly inactive bc of this thing, so you know what to expect.
I'm an overthinker and I exagerate sometimes, but that's because I view things waaay too deeply.
