"ALL WAS A LIE"

Several minutes, Michelle was sitting in front of her phone waiting for Alex's message. Michelle smiled when she saw his text.

ALEX~"Michelle let's talk."< 11:40 PM>
Her heart didn't skip this time, she was just curious about what they were going to talk about.

MICHELLE~"Alright 👌🏾"<11:40PM>

ALEX~"📷, If I said the guy in this photo was me, would you still love me?"< 11:41 PM>
                 Michelle clicked the picture and stared at the black guy, he looked nothing like how Alex described himself, the guy in the picture was a dark skin, average in height, and he didn't have hair and looked destitute.

MICHELLE~"[SIGHS] What am I to say? I did not fall for your looks, I did not fall for your looks, I fell for you,...your heart. If I love someone, then I love everything about the person... If he were you, then why didn't you let me know at first, Does that answer your question?" < 11:41 PM>

She was confused, she didn't have a clue why he had asked her this question, and at this time. It took him several minutes for him to replied her text.

ALEX~"Hmmm, ok...so you are saying you can love that guy no matter what he looks like?"< 11:46 PM>

MICHELLE~"Your words not mine."< 11:46 PM>

ALEX~"Anyway, talk to you later, I am off for now..., take care.👋🏾". < 11:47 PM.>
 

         She sighed in rage when she saw he had gone offline.

"What did he mean by, "If that were me? would you still love me" An intriguing thought dropped into her mind, she searched the internet for the name 'ALEXANDER DREX', the result showed his face, she wasn't still convinced with the research, She searched for his biography and stopped when she read a line on the web.

"ALEXANDER DREX, a young actor in the most popular young adult show, "FRIENDS WITH BENEFITS", 24 years." She couldn't believe her eyes, he was an actor and he never told me. She browsed his Insta page and went through the pictures on his post, she felt so insecure at the moment that something was right about him. She texted him out of curiosity.

MICHELLE~"Why didn't you tell me that you are an actor in a famous show?"< 11:48 PM>

She waited for his reply patiently, she read on another website that said, his mother earned millions from a live show. She felt a bit sad that why he hadn't told her that he was an actor.

ALEX~"I, I...didn't know how you will react, the girls I dated before you, only dated me because I had money but I realised that you didn't care about my wealth, you love me for who I am.."< 11:49 PM>

Michelle smiled at his compliment but still, she didn't believe his words 'If he were an actor, why did he ask her for money, when he got so much,?'She asked herself.

MICHELLE~"Alex, you do remember the first time we talked, you remember I said I hate to be lied to and cheated..."< 11:50 PM>

ALEX~"Y..., es... I remember." < 11:51 PM>
    Michelle took in a deep breath and asked further questions.

MICHELLE~"So if you are an actor, why do you beg for money, when you earn a lot and your mom earns like millions and why beg for food when you are a millionaire."< 11:51 PM>

He didn't reply to her text immediately, Michelle was so unsure if what she asked was the right thing to do.

ALEX~"Ok,... Michelle, you deserve to know the truth, I am not an actor, neither am I rich, I am just a boy who lives with his mom."< 11:52 PM>
