THEY SAY WHEN YOU die you see flashes of your life. But they never tell you what happens when someone you love dies.
Do you relive every memory you have together? Do you gasp in total and utter shock? Do you distract yourself in other things? Do you shut down? Do you cry like you've been born again? Do you scream into the night sky?
People don't know.
But what they do know is that no matter what they do nothing can bring back the people they lose.
It's a hard thing: death.
It's a nasty pill to swallow. It's even harder not to throw it back up.
People lose someone everyday.
Death is a given.
You're born to die.
Your mother pushes you from her body or you're cut from her. You grow. You do something with your life. And then you die.
It's a repeat.
Everyone will die one day.
Some earlier in life than others.
Some people live until their old and wrinkly.
People aren't so sure if the second group of people are the lucky ones.
Death is inevitable.
You simply cannot stop it.
