21. Skeletons Part 2

Terrence looked at the doctor's in disbelief. This possibly can't be true. ''Can you please explain this. I don't understand'', Sasha mom pleads. Terrence mother continued to rub his back, while her and everyone else listened.

The doctors had sat them in a different room due to all the chaos. It's crazy how so much can happen within 2 days. ''We ran tests on his blood numerous times. That's why the wait took more than it actually should have. Mr.Howard's blood isn't a match.'', the doctor explained. ''However we can do a DNA test''

''Yes, that would be fine'', Terrence mom spoke. ''But what about the baby?'' The doctor cleared it's throat,''We would just have to keep the baby in intense care, but however if Mr.Howard turns out to not be the father, then the baby life could be in serious danger''

Terrence mom drops her head, while Sasha's mother let out a cry. Sasha is dead, and now they're left to put her shit together, just to save baby Onyx. ''When will I be able to get tested?'',Terrence asked. ''The sooner, the better. I would personally get tested today'', the doctor tells him. Terrence looks down at his watch and see that it's 6:30 in the morning. He's been here for 9 hours. ''Again, I am so sorry for your death. Out to the front desk, you will receive some papers, such as the death certificates, and the formal notice''

Takia, Sasha sister ,stood up with her fists clenched together. Everything in her body was trembling. ''I'll tell you what'', she said through her clenched teeth. ''I'll sue this hospital for it's every penny. And I will not stop, until I get what's right! I will- ''STOP!'', Terrence mom hollered. ''Takia, I know that your sister death hurts, but what's money going to do for you?''

Takia stood their staring deep into the doctor's eyes, while tears slowly trickled down her cheeks. With her fists still bald up, her chest heaved in and out. ''Money isn't going to bring your sister bac- ''SO WHAT?!", she yells. ''She would've been here if the doctors was doing their fucking jobs!''

Takia nose flares up, while she looks at Terrence mother and the doctor with so much hate. Sasha mom then stood up, ''Don't worry sweetie''. She wiped her tears, and looked back to Terrence, his mother, and the doctor. ''We'll start the papers today'' She grabbed Takia's hands, and they both walked out the room together.

Once Terrence made it home, nothing felt the same. The warmth feeling, it was no longer there. All he had was memory and regret. His mother asked to stay with him, but her refused her offer. He just want to be alone. Walking up to his room, everything is left the same as he left. But why he's not coming back with the same feeling he had when he left.

Opening up his room door, reveals their messy room. The stained sheets, and the open dresser draws, Terrence stood their at the doorway, as everything that happened yesterday night, replays in his head. Him helping Sasha putting on a diaper, playing with Sasha, and lastly making love to Sasha.

Taking a step inside the room, his body weakens. The house no longer smells sweet without her. The bed no longer seems welcoming, without her in it. Terrence made his way over to Sasha side of the bed, and sat on the bed. He stared off to the wall, thinking. Thinking why every time he feels a bit of happiness, it always gets snatched away from him.

He turned his attention to her nightstand, and spots her diary. He lifts it up, and opens it, seeing her cursive red writing scribbled across the white sheets. Reading her first entry, he notice it was the night when he got upset with Sasha.

I didn't think that he would get so angry with me... What I did in the past was maybe wrong, but I regret nothing. Without the moves I've made, I would probably be stuck. Stuck with a man I don't want to be with.

Terrence eyes widens, as he read more. Anger was starting to build up in him other than sadness.

Just by him acting like this, I don't know how I'm going to tell him that I've slept with someone else. That night, I was just upset. Upset that he brought me out to Waffle House, just to tell me that he wanted to be friends. When me and him both know that he was lying. So I latched out to the next thing that was giving me attention. He was fly, and he was talented. So I went M.I.A, and left to be with the other man. But he was nothing like Terrence. Terrence had this thing about him, that just made feel that I could be great. So great, that I came back to Bmore, and went to Olive Garden to take whats mine. But Sha'la wasn't going to let that happen. She fought for him. After that, I was going to back off, until I soon found out that I was with child. I knew if I was to tell Terrence that I'm pregnant, I would be able to win him over, and I did. But I can't help but to get eaten alive by my regret. The stupid choices that I've done in the past, is starting to catch up with me. But after all the bullshit I've done, I love him. And hopefully he'll love me once I tell him..

Terrence bald up his lips, and threw her diary across the room, causing a loud thump. All this long, she's been playing him. Lying to him. Regret was rushing in. He now knew that he left his diamond for a rock. He stood up, and took off to the door, until he spots a folded sheet of paper on the carpet.

Frowning up, he lifts up the paper. It probably came out of the diary. He flips it over, and reads the writing.
