It was finally Monday , and Terrence and Sha'la prepared theirselves as they walked down the hallway to Dr.Janet office. Terrence kept his hands in his jeans, and sighed deeply. To him Dr.Meers has alot in her hands if she knew it or not.

She was basically running the punches on saving his relationship or letting it flop. "Well this is it" The couple stood in front of room 215. Sha'la was anxious. She likes talking about her feelings, and how things affected her. But Terrence on the other hand, he's really not an open book. Esspecially to strangers whose asking about his personal buisness.

Shae knocks on the door and the door swings open. Stood at the door was a slim light skin African American, with a bob . The lady smiled and stepped aside letting the couple in. "Hello goodafternoon",she greets them.

The room were decorated in pale lavender and cream colored walls. As soon as they stepped in, a scent of men colonge fullfilled their nostrils. They took a seat on the lavender sofa, and took the chance to observe the room.

The sun light shone through her office brightly, causing the furniture to look nicely against the lighting. While Dr.Janet Meers gathered her papers, Terrence looks around the room while his stomach forms in knots. Do I really have to go through with this?,he wondered.

He's worried that what if Sha'la can't take the truth once they begin the session. The last thing he wants to do is hurt her all over again. But at the same time she ask for it, and she's going to get it. He's not paying 70 dollars for each session for no reason.Sha'la soon coughed, taking Terrence out of his deep thoughts.

"You okay?" , he ask her. She nods her head, while she held onto her chest. "Oh I'm sorry",Dr.Janet apologizes. "I just bought this candle, and I had lighten it up since early this morning. I can let it out if you like" Sha'la shook her head no, "No it's fine. I like the smell of it. It smells like colonge" Dr.Janet smiles,"And I love it".

She then took her rolling chair, and pulled it over to sit in front of Terrence and Shae. "Okay sorry that it took me so long to gather my things. A married couple just left my office and I never had a chance to put their files away" "Oh that's okay.",Sha'la tells her. Terrence decided to keep quiet until he was spoken to. He's not too happy about attending counseling anyhow.

While sitting in front of the counsler, Terrence took the chance to get a good glimpse of Dr.Meers. Janet had a nice skin tone, with the perfect amount of makeup on. She had on a black flowy dress, paired up with a blue blazer. "Well my name is Dr.Janet Meers, and If you don't know by now, I practically save relationships",she jokes. Shae and Terrence laughs.

"So from here and on out, I need you guys to be as honest as you can be. No scratch that, be honest. Honesty is the best policy", Janet tells them. Shae and Terrence nodd their heads. "Cool, okay so tell me about your relationship"

Dr.Janet holds her pen up, getting ready to write down whatever the couple tells her. Sha'la looks over to Terrence to see him biting down on his bottom lip. Its clear that he's nervous, so she decided to speak first.

"Well Terrence and I met back in Atlanta at a fashion show. My cousin Naomi Sanders were hosting it",Shae tells her. Janet scribbles down on the paper. "Okay so when was this?", she asked. Shae looks up to the ceiling thinking,"Umm I can say about 4 years ago , because Terrence and I dated for 2 years, and we finally got engaged like early this year"

Janet nods while taking notes. "Okay so what type of guy Terrence were to you?"she questioned her. Before Shae could answer Janet interrupts,"And be honest", she reminds her.

"Well",Sha'la drags on. "Terrence was different from the other boys. He spoiled me with dates , gifts , money. I was so happy. The other guys I dated, they never treated me like that. And at that time I was attending school in order for me to become a teacher. But once we got engaged, I never finished college, and I just followed him down here"
