Chapter 22

2 weeks have passed, and nothing much happened

just Ein who's been having wet dreams it was getting annoying for him he still hasn't found out why Aaron kept appearing on his horny dreams 

when he told Val about it she couldn't stop laughing which made it worse because she kept teasing him almost all the time when it struck midnight 

he hasn't said a word to Aaron, he doesn't mind, he wants to be away from him for now

he also tries to find a job that isn't too crowded Val's brother helped him find a job but some of them don't suit him some are too crowded yet the money they give is low

"What kind of job do you and your sis have anyway?" he asks, he shrugged his shoulders "sis isn't the kind to go on loud places, but sometimes she does, she works part-time as a babysitter or a librarian who makes sure the books all in order along with working on that bookstore's cafe" his eyes widen "what?? so- she works on three jobs?" he nods "but why can't I see her doing her jobs though?" he says "cuz she likes to work on night shifts 24/7 opened stores, her time on a grocery store failed since a racist fuck decided to assault a young teen who was black and trans" 

Ein tilts his head "what... did she do?" he asks Cyrus chuckled "She did mention about anger issues right?" "mhm?" "well she beated the living fuck out of the gal" he laughs and fixes some of the paper on the table "which in result for her being fired from her job, but some of her job mates in the store gave her some extra credit of money for defending the kid, they even built a warning sign for her! can you believe it?" he says as he dies from his own laughter as Ein chuckles in amusement

"wait a warning sign about what exactly?" Ein asks as is he drinks his coffee "here I still have it on my phone it happened five years ago when I and her are still in high school" he shows the picture of a big sign on the opening area of the store entrance while he sees a dying Val on the floor along with some random people and a sign saying 

'don't disrespect our workers here if you don't want to end up like this lady who pissed off a teenage girl'

Ein chuckles again "that's gonna be the firstest open for lgbtq+ store I've seen so far," he says finishing his coffee while Cyrus sighed "now about my job well, i work as a bartender, told them id have a two-month break for some personal problems, after a week now I'll be back working again, the bar was clean though just bunch of drunk bastards"

he says and he opens his phone, the table has fallen silently until Ein asks "so does that mean Val is not available for today because?" Cyrus took a sip of his own water "babysitting time"

"Huh..." He then looks at his phone and they both didn't do anything after after some chores.
