CHAPTER 8

Ralph's POV

LUMABAS AKO NG CONDO unit ko at sinara ito. It's Saturday, I had a half day in my office. I don't have a agenda with Celestaire, because she's busy with her work. Maybe after her project, we can have a week of alone time.

I took my phone out and saw a message from Rhian. They are still here, which is a good thing. I have more time with her and the family. Yes, I've accepted them. I learned to love them too, especially tita Rhea. Lalo na mahal din naman ako ni tita.

Wala na akong sama ng loob sa kanila. All I feel is love and joy with them. If my mom is still alive. Maybe, she's happy with this kind of family. Maybe she and dad are separated, but as dad says they did had a bond like friends or siblings. I really wished that I had more time with mom, so I felt what my mother's love is, but it's impossible now. Well, I'll just cherish the family I have now and especially my lovely girlfriend.

Anyways, I walked to Blaze's unit and knocked on his door. After a few seconds, I heard Snow barking from the inside. Bumukas din ang pintuan. Blaze looked at me, before turning his back.

Pumasok na ako at sinara ang pintuan. Snow was jumping in front of me. I smiled and carried her. She licked my cheeks and I chuckled. What a sweet pup? I might want one, but.. I'm still think about it.

I saw Blaze holding a harness and leash. "You two going out?"

"Yeah, an afternoon walk." He said.

I smirked. "Sama ako, hanap kita bebe."

Nangunot noo niya. "Do you want Iya to know?"

"Syempre, joke lang." I laughed and put Snow down.

He rolled his eyes. "Whatever."

"Init lagi ng ulo.. May dalaw ka ba?"

He rolled his eyes. "Sasama ka ba?"

"Yeah, let's talk while we walk." Sabi ko at umakbay na sa kanya.

Inis niyang tinanggal ang pagka-akbay ko sa kanya at naglakad na papunta sa alaga. I just laughed at him, still the bad tempered Blaze. Pagbaba namin sa park ay binaba na rin niya si Snow sa lapag. The puppy was trying to pull Blaze, but he is stronger.

Nilakad namin ang aso. Habang naglalakad ay napansin ko ang dalawang bata na naglalaro sa may play ground. They are laughing as they run around the place. I smiled and remembered, me and Blaze were just like them. Playing and having fun, until we get tired.

"Look at the two boys there.. Parang tayo noon." I said.

He glanced at them. "Yeah.. Good old times."

"Ako laging hahabol sayo kasi pinagti-tripan mo ako." Sabi ko.

I raised a brow and looked at me. "I think it's the other way around."

"O dahil tumatakbo tayo para makatakas sa gulo?" I asked.

He chuckled. "All of the above?"

"All of the above." I said.

Napatingin ulit ako sa dalawang bata na naglalaro. Hinahabol na ng naka-asul ang naka-berde. Tumatawa ang naka-berde habang hinahabol ng naka-asul.

The kid in green suddenly lost his balanced and they both fell down. Nagkatinginan pa sila bago tumawa. Hindi ko maiwasan hindi matawa.

"I remember, pinapaalam pa kita sa mga magulang mo para makapunta tayo sa park." I said.
