I was packing the littles things I had with me. Asclepius said that we would shop once we reached Australia. Albany to be exact. He told me that he was supposed to take up a job offer there and that it would be perfect especially since no one knew us.

And even though I was worried that his work somehow knew he got a job offer there. He reassured me that only he knew it about it, and he was glad he didn't mention it.

I got a new phone and  luckily I knew Aphrodite's number like the back of my hand. I was only good with numbers because my mom made me learn each and everyone's numbers as a child incase I got lost or something.

I hope my mom wasn't the only one who did this.

As I packed I couldn't help but think about how different my life was going to be. I was moving with a guy I barely knew. I hoped for the best, but there's always that anxious feeling inside when I'm about to experience something new.

Asclepius had me come in and lie down in the morgue to take photos of my supposedly dead body. He had someone come in and do my makeup. As I laid there I felt weird. I mean it was only natural especially since I was around actual dead bodies. I couldn't help but think about the fact that maybe some of these people didn't want to to die and here I am faking my own death.

He told me that he planned to call Achilles all frantic and tell him that my body was found and came in. It was supposed to be a a suicide. I even wrote a letter.

We hoped that Achilles wouldn't care much. We knew that he would probably want to see my body for himself. So Asclepius had already set a date for him to see an already decomposed body almost similar to mine.

It sounded like a solid plan but I just hoped that Achilles wouldn't be suspicious.

EXECUTING THE PLAN

Today was the day that I had planned to call Achilles and tell him 'Imani's body' had been found. I practiced my fake sympathetic voice, and was ready to dial his number.

"Hello?" His voice sounded as though he was just waking up.

"Achilles... umm. I don't know how to tell you this but, we found Imani's body." My voice cracked intentionally to create a panic and saddened voice.

"WAIT WHAT?! Really?" I could hear him shifting in his bed. He was probably sitting up now.

"What do you mean? Is she okay? Where was she?" He was asking things too fast. He didn't sound concerned for her, but more for him.

"No brother you don't understand... she's dead. Suicide." I heard silence over the phone. No reply.

"I know this is hard to hear. But say something. Achilles?" Nothing was heard. I wondered if he was really believing me.

"I can make sure you see here before she gets put down. Do you want tha-."

"NO! No-." He finally replied. God, how dramatic could he be?

"I can't see her like that. Just cremate her body and give me the ashes." He sounded as though he was relieved. Weird.

"So you don't care?" I knew he didn't but I wanted to hear him admit it.

"Like I said sometimes arguments are too much. You wouldn't understand. At least she's happy now. I hope. Just give me the ashes. I have to go." And with that he hanged up.

What the fuck-?!

This was easier than I anticipated. I just needed to get home to Imani. I was overwhelmed with joy to know she was finally mine.
