19. Depressed once more

Strange. Ginny could use that word to describe such moment.

Arthur was eating calmly while Fred and George talked about their stuff. Harry was by their side, a bit uncomfortable.

But there was absolutely no doubt the strangest were Hermione, who was really nervous, looking at Ron, who was definately not okay.

He looked tired, devastated. His eyes were red by crying, maybe? Has no one noticed it?

The ginger girl signed him to speak in private. To which he hardly nodded. But they weren't fast enough.

-Ron... How was your date with Avery? - Molly decided to ask, attempting to end the tension

All the attention fell over the ginger who couldn't stay up. He coudn't possibly believe the situation at the dinner table.
-Don't tell me you had it all planned out. - He told his mother and Hermione, who was now looking down at her plate

-What are you talking about? - Fred asked him
-What am I talking about? - Ron asked sarcastically as he stood up from the table - I'm saying that the only reason that Hermione's here is because mom didn't like Avery. That's why you sent her that letter. - He finished

-Ron, calm down. Hermione might be here but I don't think she'll do... - Harry began, trying to calm down the situation

The ginger looked at the girl who had now stood  up from her chair.
-In fact, I'd like to talk to Ron in private. - She asked

-In private? In private?! For what? So you can kiss me again?! Avery saw us, do you get it?! And everything I've achieved to be with her... I won't have any more chances. - He looked at his mother - I love her and now... Everything's ruined.

-Ron... - The girl began

-You've done what?! - Ginny yelled furiously - Can't you be okay with anything?! - She left the napkin on the table and left

-Ginny... Where are you going? - Molly asked her with a guilty tone - Ginny...
-Isn't it obvious? I'm gonna how' Avery. - Ginny replied, leaving everyone speechless

Ron, on the other hand, went to his bedroom and shut the door.
-Harry, I didn't... - Hermione began, trying to make an excuse

-I'm sorry, Hermione. I think... I think it's best if you leave. - The brown haired said, going up the stairs to go where his best friend was

-I just don't get it! - Fred suddenly said, looking at his mother - Why have you done this?

-Fred, I didn't wanna hurt... I just didn't think it'd be so important for him. - Mrs. Weasley said

-Guys, that's enough. - Arthur said, understanding his wife - Your mother has always wanted what's best for you.

George, who was hearing the conversation with his arms crossed and analysed the situation, looked at Hermione who wasn't doing anythign at all but stood still, without packing her bags.
-Why have you done it? - He suddenly asked

The girl acted like she didn't understand what he was saying. She felt ashamed and nervous.
-Don't play dumb. Why have you done it? - Fred asked her

-I... Don't know. We were just talking and old topics appeared. I remembered what was it like to be with him and... I'm sorry. - She crossed her arms - But if it's so important for him, Ron should've separated.

George just let out a sarcastic laugh as he stood up.
-First, you should learn to listen. Avery has been the reason of why our brother's been smiling again. Why did you have to interfere? You're so jealous and selfish that you just can't let him be happy?

Hermione stayed quiet. She didn't have words and couldn't understand she should leave immediately.
-Tell Viktor I said hi. I'm certain you'll have some stuff to explain. - Fred said before going to his younger brother's bedroom

When the twins got to their brother's bedroom, he was just like in the first day. Depressed and without listening to anybody.
-Ronnie. - Fred called, sitting by his side

-I'm sure you can fix this. - George said, looking at him. But there wasn't any reaction from his brother - Have you talked to her?

-Yes. - Ron replied angrily - But everything's horrible. I don't think she'll ever want to talk or see me again. - He closed his eyes

Harry, who was with hhis arms crossed, thought about what Ginny might be doing right now. he hoped Avery was okay.
-Let's wait for Ginny to return. She might help. - He suggested, creating hope inside Ron

Hope? Avery lost all her hope when she was just a child.

In that moment, she was healing Zeus' wound who was crying and wining.
-I'm sorry. I... I'm so sorry. - She told him as she cleaned everything up

The dog, on the other hand, who was stretched on his personal sofa, looked at his owner and licked her hand, indicating everything was okay.

But nothing was. Her life... Didn't have any meaning. She had to return home, she had to talk to her mother and fix and, possibly, save Nicole's business.

The bell rang, and Avery got scared, thinking that it may be that man again. She stood up with her wand in hand and looked through the little hole on the door.

Opening the door, the ginger girl hugged her with all her possible strength.
-Avery... - Ginny said after separating, looking around - Don't tell me you're leaving.

The girl smiled weakly.
-I got some important stuff I must solve in... Norway. - She said firmly - Sorry for all this.

-Don't apologise. Besides... Wait, what happened to you? - She asked her, looking at her face, her arms, and the house which Avery still couldn't organise - Whatever happened in here?

Avery looked down at Zeus, who was still on the floor. Ginny widened her eyey before crouching by the dog's side.
-Avery, tell me what happened. - She said really worriedly

-It... It doesn't matter. Someone just entered here and robbed... So... - Avery began - I... Fuck, I shouldn't have gone to that stupid date with Ron. None of this would've happened. It's all my fault. - She said while patting the dog

Ginny looked at Zeus, who moved his tail a bit slowly. He was calm. She looked at her friend who was just or worse than Ron, and guessed that there was something she wasn't telling her.

She switched her gaze to the bedroom and noticed that the bed sheets weren't there anymore. Only the mattress. And on the head of the bed were... scratches.

The ginger closed her eyes to conclude her thoughts about what she could do.

-Fine. I'll got to Norway with you.
