Chapter 12

The next day

Mikey decided to visit Mrs. Baji, little did he knew that a certain someone was also coming to visit her

"I wonder why Becky-san refused to come to the hospital with me from now on, i did gave her some money for the act" y/n said to her herself as she sighed "i will come tomorrow mama, I have to go and visit gramps and uncle shin and auntie Emma" y/n said as she went towards her family grave, "the sano family, u know Gramps sometimes I wonder why didn't u ever mention something about my father, u told me about uncle shin and auntie Emma but when it came to my father u just told me his name and that he just isn't here" y/n said infront of her great-grandfather's grave with a little smile on her face "to be honest I never gave any thoughts about my father, some of my classmates don't live with both of their parents but atleast they know about their parents but why to think about someone who i don't even know" y/n said with a smile "i miss u gramps, and i wished I met u uncle and auntie" she said before heading for the hospital

"Mikey" Mrs. Baji said while looking at Mikey
"it's been a while Mrs. Baji how are u doing" Mikey said before taking a seat to sit down
"what are u doing here!?" Mrs. Baji said with anger
"y/n... is my daughter isn't she?" Mikey said
Mrs. Baji looked at Mikey for a moment after taking a deep breath, she said "she is"
"I came here to ask u a favour, I'm well aware that y/n doesn't know about me I want u to tell her about me, u are the only person who can explain the situation to her and from now on i will take care of her" Mikey said
Mrs. Baji knew that she didn't had many days left, and after her death y/n wouldn't have anyone so it would be better for y/n if she learns about Mikey and lives with him, after thinking about this she agreed with Mikey.

"Granny!!" Y/n said entering the room before running towards her granny and giving her a big hug
"Y/n i want to tell u something" granny said
"story time! I love when u tell me stories" y/n said as she sat beside her granny
"I will tell u a story someday, today i want to talk to u about something important ok honey" granny said and y/n nodded in response

After granny told y/n that she has to live with her father from now and explained the situation to her

"I don't know how to feel granny, i-i" y/n said, she didn't know how to feel, should she feel happy, confused, suprised or what
Her feelings were all over the place with everything going she was already on the edge after knowing that she has to live with her father who she never even met, she didn't know how to feel
"Y/n honey come here" said granny as she pulled y/n in a hug as she saw that y/n started to cry "i am tried granny, why can't things be like before why why" y/n said as she continued to cry while hugging her granny
"Y/n honey i know it's hard i am so sorry u have to go through all of this, nowdays i feel my end coming close, i am sorry I have to leave u, but remember u are never alone i, ur mama might not be here with u physically, but we will always look out for u" granny said
"Don't say that granny, u will be ok again, and we will live together, don't go granny pls...pls" y/n said as her tears were still were flooding from her eyes
"I don't want to leave u too sweetheart but there are things we can't control in life, this is one of them, how about u stay here for the entire day" granny said
Y/n looked up to her granny and nodded

The entire day y/n and her granny talked, y/n cried and cried letting out her emotions that she had bottled up for a year, granny knew that today might be her last day
She wanted to talk with her granddaughter one last time to explain things that will change in her life after her death

At night
"Y/n remember i am always here with u not only me but ur mama, ur gramps, ur uncles and auntie we all will always look out for u, u are not alone honey" granny said to y/n as she was hugging her and rocking her slowly
"Granny is this the last time we talk, last time I hug u" y/n said
"It might be" granny said
"If it is then i am grateful that i got the chance to talk to u one last time, i love u soo much granny, thank u for being my granny" y/n said as she cried
"Granny can u tell me some stories" y/n said
"Ofc sweetheart" granny said as y/n hugged her granny and slept

Some say that one can feel when their end is near, some believe it and some Don't, y/n's granny felt her end was near and she wasn't wrong the next day she passed away
Mikey took care of the funeral and after the funeral y/n's stuff was moved to a new house

As y/n went around her house one last time, she couldn't help but cry, the house had alot of memories of her family, the living room where they watched tv and laughed. The kitchen where they talked and made sweets and her favourite food. The backyard where they used to play, watch the stars every corner had memories the house was still the same but the people who made it home were no longer there only their memories, only their pictures........
