Chapter 38

"Sorry" y/n quickly said before her eyes met with a boy near her age

Y/n looked into his blue eyes while he did the same

"Uh it's alright" the boy said
"Sorry again" y/n said with a little blush of embarrassment

The two kept quiet for a few seconds before the boy asked "what are u doing here?"
"I'm a little lost" y/n said nervously
"Hm" the boy said

I should introduce myself  y/n thought

"Y/n baji, nice to meet u" y/n said before she bowed a little
"Hayato amasawa" he replied
"Is this ur first time here?" Hayato asked
"It is, amasawa san" y/n said trying to avoid making an eye contact cause he was looking at her

"Just call me by my first name" hayato said and y/n nodded in response
"Can u tell me where the party is?" Y/n asked in her tone u can hear the nervousness

"Hm, u know that the ladies attend the party in the second building till evening" Hayato said with a straight face
"I didn't know that" y/n replied

"Come follow me I will lead u inside, ur father can take u there" he said before he started walking and y/n followed

After walking for less than a minute
They both reached near a door
Where y/n was met with a room full of business man,
People were talking while drinking their wine or champagne

Y/n who wasn't much of a party person or the person who likes to be in room with alot of people,
She hesitated to go inside

"Don't wanna go?" Hayato asked
"Not really" y/n said in a low voice
"If u want u can join me in the garden" he said
"I would like that" y/n replied

And they both went towards the garden and sat under a tree
Though at first there was an awkward silence

"How old are u?" Y/n asked trying to make a conversation
"14, u?" Hayato replied
"13" y/n said
"I see, how come this is ur first time coming here? Every kid here comes here since they were young" hayato said
"I used to live with my mother before and now I live with my father because um" y/n stopped for a second but before she could say something
Hayato said "sorry about ur mother"

Y/n was a little taken back
"U don't have to apologize" y/n said before looking towards him with a small smile

Y/n looked at him,

Looking at his blue eyes, blond hair
Y/n liked his voice it was somehow comforting even though it was a little deep and somehow cold

"I have seen u somewhere" y/n said
"It's because u have" hayato said
"At the library! Few days back right!" Y/n said not feeling that nervous
Hayato nodded as response
"I remember I bumped into u" y/n said "and I bumped into I today as well" y/n added
"Yeah, it's odd how we met" hayato said

Few minutes passed and they both were talking about random things
They both did had same opinions in alot of stuff
Y/n who is uncomfortable talking to new people, she felt comfortable talking with him
Even though hayato wasn't much of a talker
