Chapter 18

Both the females sat infront of kakucho and y/n

"Y/n this is Himeko ur step mother, and that's ur step sister Emma" said Mikey as he introduced himeko and Emma to y/n
"Nice to meet u both" y/n said as she forced a little smile
While himeko and Emma just nodded
"Daddy we have a parent and child day at our school two days later, u will come right" Emma said while giving y/n an evil grin
"Of course" Mikey said as he patted Emma's head

Two days later huh, that means on 20 October, on my birthday y/n thought as she looked down at the floor

Y/n now understood why her father was never there because he already had a family, a family which he loved
It made y/n sad and angry at the same time. Ever since she met Mikey she felt nervous and somehow scared  when she saw him and now she felt angry at him , she wanted to ask him
Why weren't u ever there? Is it because u already had a family?
Why do u have a family, isn't it supposed to be me and mama?

Y/n saw how the three looked like a family, how mikey talked to the girl with blond hair while he never even asked y/n how she was, never bothered to talk to her or visit or even call her, it broke her heart into million pieces, seeing them as a family hurted her, it hurted her to see that her father already has a family who he loves and cares about.

Emma... Looks like papa named her after auntie Emma. She even calls him daddy while i can't even call him papa because I am scared to do so, she is really pretty, her eyes and hair are like papa and she looks like her mother...
No wonder papa loves her she is so pretty while me....... Y/n thought as she saw Mikey and Emma talk.
She didn't know what they were talking about as she was thinking about everything that just had happened

After few mins the food was served
"Here u go y/n! hope u like it" said Hana as she served y/n her food
But y/n didn't response as she still was thinking and was not aware of her surroundings
"Y/n" kakucho said
"Hai" y/n said as she flinched
"Are u ok?" Hana asked with a worried expression on her face
"Hai Hana San, Arigato for the meal" y/n said as she gave a forced smile to Hana

Few mins passed away

Everyone was busy eating their dinner, koko and ran were talking about something and the others were listening expect for y/n who was just staring at her food
Kakucho was the only one who noticed that y/n wasn't eating her food
"Y/n is everything ok?" Kakucho said in a whisper to y/n, even tho he knew that the answer was a no
Y/n nodded as a response and slowly started to eat her food
Kakucho knew y/n was lying but he decided to give her some space
"Y/n wasn't it" hemiko said
Y/n nodded while looking at the plate infront of her
"Y/n...what a strange name" said Emma
Y/n didn't say anything about emma's comment and countinued to eat her food
"Mikey how about we go to our holiday house this weekend just the three of us like we always do" hemiko said while clinging to Mikey's arm
"I will see about it" Mikey said
"Yay! Daddy we should go there and shop online like we always do" Emma added
It was pretty obvious to y/n that they were bringing this stuff up because she was present in the room
"Kakucho San, I need to go now, i have school tomorrow" y/n said as she got up from her seat
"Ok let's go then" kakucho said
"It's ok kakucho San, u haven't finished ur dinner i will go with the driver" y/n said as she went towards the door without looking at anyone
"Y/n are u leaving?" Hana said as she saw y/n taking her bag and her school uniform
"I am Hana San, i have school tomorrow, the food was very delicious Arigato" y/n said with a small smile
"I will come at ur shop one day" y/n added before leaving the penthouse

After she reached the house
"Welcome back y/n" said Sakura the maid who was taking care of y/n and staying with her
"Hello Sakura San, i will go to bed now, good night" y/n said as she went upstairs to her room
"Good night y/n" said Sakura while y/n gave Sakura a smile before going to her room

After getting inside her room, y/n closed it and tears started flooding from her eyes, the tears she has been holding for a while
She went towards her bed and looked at a photo of her, kiyoko, Grandpa sano and granny
She couldn't help but cry, after crying for more than a hour
She decided to play some lofi ghibli studio's music,
She layed in her bed and stared at the sky through her bedroom window, as the lofi music was playing
Y/n remembered how, kiyoko and her used to do their work while listening to lofi music
Flashback
"Mama is my answer right" little y/n asked to kiyoko who was sitting beside her doing her work on her laptop
"It's right, good job sweetheart" kiyoko said as she patted y/n's head
Y/n and kiyoko were in their living room, while kiyoko was doing some work and y/n was doing her school work. After y/n completed her homework she laid her head on kiyoko's lap and hugged her. While kiyoko patted her head and talked with y/n about her school
"Are u getting sleepy" kiyoko asked to y/n who was laying on her lap, y/n nodded
Kiyoko chuckled and started to hum a random a song, and saw y/n already starting to sleep in her lap
End of flashback

The lofi music helped y/n sleep,
In y/n's dreams she remembered spending time with her family, the moments she spent with them were playing in her head as the music was going on in the background
