Chapter 23

"Kakucho San?" Y/n said
Kakucho broke the hug "are u ok" kakucho asked
Y/n nodded in response
"Come sit here" kakucho said as y/n and him sat on the couch
"Tell me what happened, i know u wouldn't do something like that for no reason" kakucho said as he patted y/n's head

Y/n explained everything that happened

"Gomenasai kakucho San, i shouldn't have done that. I just couldn't control my anger and ended up punching her" y/n said looking down
"It's true that u shouldn't have done that but if I were in ur place i would've done the same, it's understandable. Just remember that u shouldn't let ur anger take over u" kakucho said
"I will remember that" y/n said
"And never ran off again alone" kakucho said
"I won't" y/n said
Kakucho sighed in relief
"I got u this" kakucho said as he gave y/n a box
"What's this?" Y/n said as she took the box
"It's a present since it's ur birthday" kakucho said
"Arigato kakucho San!!" Y/n said happily
Kakucho san remembered my birthday! Y/n thought

Y/n opened the present, and saw a plushie of her favourite anime character
"I wanted this for soo long" y/n said as she hugged the plushie
"And i got u this as well" kakucho said as he handed her some chocolates, and a box of taiyaki and dorayaki
Y/n's eyes sparkled

"ARIGATO KAKUCHO SAN!!" y/n said with a huge smile on her face
"U can eat this tomorrow u should go to sleep now" kakucho said
"Hai!! Goodnight kakucho san" y/n said before she left and went to her room

Kakucho also left and went to one of Bonten's headquarters as koko called him to come
Yesterday after kakucho stormed out of the meeting room, he didn't meet Mikey after that

It's probably Mikey who called me there kakucho thought

"Ah kakucho u are here" ran said
But kakucho ignored him and went infront of Mikey
"Mikey i apologise for my actions yesterday" kakucho said as he bowed a little
If I don't apologise who knows what he will do kakucho thought

"Hm, how is y/n" Mikey asked
"She is ok" kakucho said before he sat on his seat
"Where did she go yesterday" Mikey asked
"She went to her best friend's house for a sleepover and spent the day with them" kakucho said
"I see" Mikey said
"Mikey, u should give y/n a chance to explain about what really happened that day" kakucho said
"Are u saying that Emma is lying? she is my daughter i have known her since she was little. I know she wouldn't lie to me" Mikey said
Kakucho sighed and said to Mikey who was leaving the room "just please..don't hurt y/n"
Mikey just left the room without saying anything
"Looks like u really care about y/n huh, u even yelled at Mikey for her" Takeomi said
"What actually happened that day?" Sanzu said

Kakucho explained everything to the executives about the incident

"Don't tell boss but even I don't like hemiko and Emma" rindou said
"I agree with rin, they both are brats" ran said

Meanwhile with y/n

Y/n was putting the stuff she brought inside the closet, after putting all the stuff away
She went towards her study table and decided to put some pictures in her photo book
As she was placing the pictures, she took with yachi and Sasha
She couldn't help but look at the old pictures with her family

"I miss u guys, every single day" y/n said while looking at the photo of her family
"I wanna be happy again, it's not like I'm alone but still I can't get rid of this emptiness, everything changed so fast, everyday i can't but think of u guys, everyday i wanna hug u, talk with u but i can't. Nowdays it feels like that i have to pretend that everything is ok that i'm ok. I don't know how to feel, i just wanna hug u mama, i want to sing songs with u, read books with u, watch movies with u, go to the park with u
But i can't" y/n said while crying
"When granny told me that I will live with papa, i thought that he would be like u mama but he already has a family, he already has a daughter who he loves so much but what about me, that day I saw the look in his eyes, it looked as if he hated me, he didn't even remembered my birthday
He is my papa so why doesn't he love me" y/n said hugging kiyoko's photo

I feel as if mama is here.... Y/n thought as she felt kiyoko's scent around her
