Save the Factory (Poppy Playtime Reader Insert)

Terrible things have happened.

Mommy Long Legs apeared at the other end of the hall and was sprinting full force at the group, luckily the scanner finally accepted the Blue Hand and the door began to open. "Quickly Everyone!" You said as the smaller toys squeezed under the door. Soon Bron was able to make it under and Huggy, still carrying you followed. When you reached the room, you saw a lever and pulled it, before noticing the machine right next to it. Mommy Long Legs ran into the room and ran into the machine, she then tried reaching out for you but her hand had been caught in a massive grinder. As it activated Mommy Long Legs screamed in pain, "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE!? HE'LL MAKE ME PART OF HIM!"

You looked on as she screamed in agony and tried freeing herself. You then made the decision and squirmed out of Huggys arms, you then limped over to the lever and with all of your force, began to push the lever back up. "Dude, what are you doing!?" Bron asked as you finally managed to shut the machine off. You looked to him and said, "No one should have to endure all that pain. I personally feel like everyone can be given a second chance." You then looked to Mommy Long Legs who was panting and crying on the floor, one of her arms and legs had been dragged into the machine and both had been torn off of her. You examined her as she panted and cried, you then thought of something. "Bunzo, hand me the cable you have." You said as he complied. He tossed the cable over to you and you began work.

You took the cable and cut it in half with one of the sharp parts of the grinder. You noticed one of Mommy's shoes was still sticking out of the machine, so you pulled it off of what was left of her leg, and managed to attach it to one part of the cable, and attached the other half of the cable to a hole where Mommy Long Legs leg used to be. "Boogie Bot, can you hand me the green hand?" You said as he tossed it over to you, "And do you think any of you could possibly look around for a first aid kit? I'd appreciate it a ton." Huggy then walked over and pulled a white case with a red plus on it off of a slot in the wall and placed it right next to you. After you finished attaching the other part of the cable to Mommy Long Legs, you sat back, grabbed the first aid kit, and popped it open to start bandaging your ankle.

You wrapped a bit of gauze around your ankle and tied it into place. You then turned to Mommy Long Legs who had gotten up at that point but was facing away from the whole group. You placed a hand on her shoulder and softly spoke, "Are you okay?" The room was silent until she spoke, "Why? Why would you save me? After all I did to you?" She turned to you and you saw that her eyes were back to normal. "Cause that's what I do." You said as you grabbed some more gauze and used it to wipe the blood off of Mommy Long Legs' new limbs, "I've never felt like anyone deserves to die. Everyone must have a reason for what they do, right?" You slowly got up and leaned up next to Huggy. She looked to you as she tested out her new limbs, amazingly she was able to use them just like her old ones.

She then got up and immediately apologized, "I'm so sorry for trying to hurt you. All of you." She said as she looked to everyone else, "I'd spent all those years alone and when I finally saw something different. I didn't want to lose it, but seeing you return made me think you were going to report back to those other people. So I tried to prevent you from leaving by any means necessary. I can't apologize enough for all the trauma I must have caused for you, and if you don't want to see me ever again, then I understand."

The room stayed quiet as she overlooked everyone, before slowly beginning to walk out the door she came in. "Mommy wait." You said as she turned around, "I don't blame you for your actions, while they were unjust, I understand the reaction. I want to help all of you as well as the employees possibly left in the factory, and I want to give all of you a chance of seeing the sunlight. To feel the warmth on your skin. To experience the joy of freedom. So why don't you come with us and we can escape this place together." You held out your hand as she looked at it, her piercing green eyes giving off some sort of emotion you couldn't completely comprehend. She then took your hand and pulled you into an embrace, "Thank you." She said as you hugged her back.

When the rest of the crew got situated, you all headed through the entrance that had recently opened, unaware of the massive hand that poked out from under a barricaded door and grabbed the remaining pieces of Mommy Long Legs body out of the shredder, before disappearing into the darkness. Soon you arrived on a series of catwalks that were just above the Game Station, you looked down at the train below and came up with a plan. "Alright, you guys go and board the train while me and Mommy here find Poppy." You said as the group agreed and you all split up. It wasn't long however before you and Mommy Long Legs came to a control room looking area and inside and pinned to the wall was the last part of the train code, and Poppy.

Mommy Long Legs pulled the webbing off of both and handed you the train code before Poppy spoke in an angry tone, "You let her live!? After what she did!?" You were taken aback by this other side of Poppy. She then recomposed herself and said, "No matter, I'll board the train. We need to leave." With that she dissapeared into another vent. After staying in that spot for a few minutes, you and Mommy Long Legs walked out and she helped bring you down to the main area with her stretchy limbs. The two of you slowly aproached the train to see that everyone was there and accounted for, even Poppy who sat at the very back of the train. Mommy Long Legs then put her new green hand on the green hand scanner and the door soon swung open, you then proceeded to walk into the train and imput the code. You blew the whistle and pulled the regulator, and the train was off.

You slowly looked at the Game Station as it faded into the background and the tunnel was filled with green light as the junction came closer. Poppys voice then rang from a small speaker in the corner, "Despite the good efforts you made to free me, and the others, I still require your assistance. I'm sorry, but I can't let you leave." The points ahead then switched to another track as Poppy continued monologing, "Terrible things have happened. But I know that whatever I need you to do. You're capable, your perfect. Too perfect to lose. Wha-" Her monolog was cut short as the speaker then cut out with a small alarm and you and Mommy Long Legs noticed, the train was beginning to go downwards and speed up. "What's happening!?" You asked as the train began rocking from side to side.

"I don't know! But we have to stop the train or else we're gonna crash!" Mommy said as suddenly the brakes turned on. The two of you pulled the lever and sparks could be seen outside as the grinding of metal filled the air, you two held down the lever but soon you noticed the train was leaning to one side. "Mommy watch out!" You shouted as the train fell on its side and you fell and hit your head on a metal beam in the cab. As your vision blurred you saw Mommy Long Legs looking over you in worry, but you also saw a sign out the other window. As you blacked out you could make out the word 'Playcare'.

A/N: I can't thank you guys enough for enjoying this story. Unfortunately until chapter 3 comes out. I don't want to continue it until then. But with all the supposed leaks on the internet roaming about. We might not have to wait long for some news about it.
