A Plan Begins

"Hello?" You cautiously asked, waiting for a response. "Hey... Hey, can you hear me? You look kinda lost." Came the voice of a young boy on the other side, surprising you. "A kid? Who are you?" You asked as you looked about the room. "I'm... a friend." Said the boy as he continued, "I don't want you to die- so I'm gonna help you! Check this out! Look at the tube thing on the back wall. Ready?"

You could hear something coming down one of the delivery tubes as you looked over, seeing a large battery pack come out and land on a table set under the tube. "BUH-BOOM! You can use that battery to open the door!" Said the boy as you picked it up and placed it into a socket next to a door. "Thanks, kid." You replied as you pushed open the door and walked through.

You then came out into a familiar tunnel and found the wreckage of the game station train, still on fire. You also took note of several areas made large enough for all of the toys to escape. They must have been fine if they were able to crawl from the wreckage of the train. "Whoa! Did you do that?" Asked the kid as you noted how he seemed to be reacting from your point of view. "I guess that's where CatNap found you..." He said as you were further dragged into confusion.

You tried to remember what had happened after the train crash, but you just couldn't get a hold on any solid image. "I know you're probably mad at Poppy for not letting you escape. But she needs you. We need you. You are our mission. Together, we can save a lot of people. Including you." Explained the boy as you rubbed your head before turning to the other direction of the tunnel and began walking down and towards the nearest station.

Fortunately, it was just around the corner as you managed to climb up and onto the platform. "Playcare is straight ahead. It's the home of Catnap... one of the "Smiling Critters". There used to be... eight of them? I think?" Said the kid as you recalled and spoke as you observed the station, looking at the statue of Huggy in the center. "Yeah. There's Dogday, Picky Piggy, Hoppy Hopscotch, Bubba Bubbaphant, Craftycorn, Kickin Chicken, and Catnap I'm pretty sure." "Now it's just him." Said the kid as you entered a security office, leaving you to pause for a moment as he continued, "Playcare is his church, his hunting ground. Whatever he wants it to be. You better get moving quickly... We'll keep in touch." Warned the kid as he finished, "Oh, and by the way, my name is Ollie. Nice to meet you."

You continued looking around as you replied, "Well. I'll see what I can do. Thanks for the help, Ollie. I'm (Y/n)." As you hung up the phone, you felt nice for being able to actually talk to another human being for the first time in a while. Walking down a hallway, you came to a power room with a pole that looked of a design you hardly recognized. It somewhat resembled other power poles you'd seen earlier, but it had a couple sign looking objects with holes through them and a rotating wheel on the top.

It took you a minute to figure out, but the trick was to put one of the grab pack hands through, and it would spin around the pole and be shot out at a different angle. As you activated the power to the gates through to Playcare, you had a spark of a memory. One of the technicians once complained about how he had to walk around the electrical poles to activate them to you during a break, and you jokingly made a drawing on a napkin of a way to make it easier and more fun. Either the technician had told Leith Pierre about the idea, or he somehow found out.

You scratched the back of your head as you made your way back out and too the entrance, where the once locked gates now blew in a light breeze. Before heading through, you looked to the metallic and blood covered statue of Huggy placing his hands on his hips and said, "I'm coming, guys." You then dramatically threw open the gate for your own amusement as you made your way up the stairs and into a small area with vending machines and a sign saying "Eliot's Express" over an archway to where a tram sat. You also spotted a Cutout of one of the Smiling Critters, being Kickin Chicken.
