As you were sitting at your table in your apartment, you felt partially torn on what to do. After beginning to look for other opportunities for work two months prior, you'd gotten a letter from another company that was in need of an architect to help construct new buildings for business. The main reason you'd been considering switching jobs is because of your recent observings at Playtime Co.
With workers not only suddenly moving out of town without warning, but a general feeling of unease from some of the other workers that were still working on things at the factory. Like that one guy calling himself "The Doctor." Every time you saw or heard about him, there was something that sent a shiver up your spine.
Normally, you would've reported the man to the head of the company; Elliott Ludwig, but he was still off on his own "personal ventures" as Leith Pierre put it. Given the fact he'd been gone for multiple years, only writing the occasional letter to Leith, you had this deep feeling that something was wrong.
Looking over the letter once again, you sighed resolutely as you got up and left your apartment to go to the factory.

As you walked through the halls of the factory, letter in hand, you took your time to observe the brightly colored hallways. The reason you'd even taken the job at Playtime Co was because you always liked the policy of Elliott, a man who only wished to bring joy to children around the globe. When he'd begun talk of expansion of the factory, a job offering for an architect had opened up in the local newspaper, and you jumped at the opportunity, sharing the view of Elliott.
You stopped as you were now outside the office of the second highest person in the company, Leith. You placed a hand to the wall of the factory as you took a deep breath and knocked on the door, hearing the man from the inside say, "Come in."
Entering into the man's office, he greeted you warmly, "Ah! Good morning, (Y/n). What can I do for you?" You reciprocated, wanting to be on the man's good side when you approached him, "Morning to you too, Mr. Pierre. I've recently received a letter from a company out of state that requires someone of my particular skill set, so I've been considering leaving to look into other ventures."
You looked at the man as a little bit of light seemed to fade from his eyes, making you increasingly nervous as he stood up and began to speak once more, "... very well." he began, catching you off guard, "If you feel like this is right for you, then I have no objections to your choice. I wish you well in the future (Y/n). I'll get the paperwork filed for your leave and tell the others."
He then leaned forward to shake your hand, which you took out of respect, "Thank you, Mr. Pierre. I also wish the best for you and this place. Take care." You finished as you walked out of the man's office and soon made it to the front doors of the factory.
Turning back to the entryway, you looked at the interior one more time as you said, "Farewell Playtime Co." Before leaving to the next chapter of your life.
