Clingy!Sonic x Reader

(Y/n)'s P.O.V
I woke up to the sunlight shining through my window. I let out a yawn as I slowly open my eyes. I then stretched my arms out and I felt something pricking my arm. I look over and....SONIC?! What the?? How did he get in my room?? I sat up on my bed and he slowly stirs and wakes up. "Ugh what time is it?" He groaned as he sat up. "Ahem! Sonic! What are you doing here?!" I exclaimed.

"I couldn't sleep so I came to your room." He said groggily as he laid back down and laid his head on my lap. Dammit I can't stay mad at him I mean look at him he looks so cute when he's asleep. "Ok Fine I'll accept this." I said as I wrap my arms around him and laid back down as I hugged him. I then reach out to my night stand and grab my phone which was thankfully near my reach. I then go through my socials and see my friends posts and stuff.

I then went to YouTube and I was laughing at all these vines I was seeing. Suddenly a hand snatched my phone. "Hey!" I exclaimed as Sonic looked at my phone. "What are you laughing at?" He asked as he was messing with my phone. I then grabbed it from him and I closed my phone. "Nothing Sonic now come on let's get up." I said as I stood up from my bed. "Ughhh 5 more minutes." Sonic said as he grabbed my blanket and put it over his head.

"Alright if you say so I'll be off on my own now while you sleep." I said as I walked towards my door. As I opened it Sonic was next to me as he held my hand. "Actually Nevermind I'd rather be with you." He said. I let out a sigh. We then walk down the stairs and we saw a note on the table. I went over to pick it up and read it.

"Hey guys! We went to help out with the local farm since Bessie is giving birth to her calfs! Take care and don't blow up the house. (seriously though we just fixed it.)
Lots of love,
                Mom."

I then turned over to sonic who was on the chair spinning around in it. "Well looks like mom and dad are out helping the people." I said as I placed the note back on the table. "Sweet. Lets blow up the house." Sonic chirped. "WHAT?! NO!" I yelled.
"PFTT HAHAHAHHAHAHA YOUR FACE!" Sonic laughed. "Ugh whatever so what do you wanna do that doesn't involve destroying the house?" I asked.

"Hmmmm." Sonic hummed. "Oh! I know!" I exclaimed. "What if we go over to the forest that's near your old cave?" I asked. "Oooh yeah! Sounds like fun!" Sonic exclaimed. "Great then let me go change." I said as I raced back up the stairs.

I then changed out of my pjs into some shorts and a shirt. I then walked towards my door and opened it to see Sonic almost fall towards me but he catches himself. "O-Oh hi (Y/n)." He said as he let out a nervous chuckle. "What we're you doing?" I asked unamused. "W-What?! Nothing yeah nothing at all. Geez is it getting hot in here hehe..not that I'm hot you're hot-I-I mean who? what? this is hot-I mean n-not like that!" Sonic stuttered as his muzzle turned into a deep red and he was fiddling with his fingers.

I bursted out laughing as I was feeling myself start to blush at his words. "You're so cute. You know that right?" I said as I scratched his ear. I heard him leg out a small purr. "Yeah I know." He said softly. I giggle at him. "Come on! Lets go now!" I said as I ran down the stairs and went up to the door. "Oh wait let me get my keys." I said as I went to get them.
"Okay ready?" I asked sonic. "Born ready!" He said. We then walked out the door, locked it, and headed out to the forest.

*small time skip~*

After going back to his old cave Sonic got a bit....emotional. So now here we are in the middle of a park, on a bench, and a crying sonic next to me. "Hey now come on don't be sad it's gonna be ok besides your with us now remember?" I said as I hugged him. "I-I know it's just....the memories. The memories of Longclaw, my years here alone, it just got to me." He sniffed as he held my arm tighter.

"Aww sonic come on cheer up! Ooh what if we go get ice cream?" I asked. "Sure! It sounds good." He replied. We then left the park and began walking to the ice cream shop nearby. But suddenly we bump into someone along the way. "Oh geez! Sorry about that!" I exclaimed. "Hey it's ok no problem- (Y/n)?!" I suddenly realized who the person was. It was my best friend Kyle! "KYLE! OH MY GOSH! HI! HOW ARE YOU AND WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!" I exclaimed.

"(Y/N)! IM DOING GOOD! ALSO IM HERE TO VISIT MY AUNTS PLACE OH GEEZ I MISSED YOU SO MUCH DUDE!" He said as he embraced me in a hug. I hug back a bit tightly since it's been months that I've seen him ever since he moved away from Green Hills. "Ahem!" a voice broke out moment. We pull apart and I see Sonic there tapping his foot with a pout in his face. "Oh yeah! Sonic this is my best friend Kyle. Kyle this is Sonic." I introduced him.

"Woah. Is it a robot? How is it so realistic?" Kyle asked. "For your information, I'm a hedgehog!" Sonic snarked as he blowed a raspberry at him and then held my hand tightly as he looked away. "Sorry about him he's a bit moody at the moment." I said.
"No problem it's all good so I'll guess we can meet up later while I'm here in Green Hills?" Kyle asked. "Without a doubt!" I exclaimed. Suddenly i felt my shirt being tugged and i look to see Sonic trying to pull me away. "Yeah don't worry I'll text you ok see ya." Kyle said as he walked away. "Bye!" I called out.

I then turn my attention towards Sonic. "Sonic..." i gave him a small glare. "What up with you?" I asked. He just turned away and pouted with his arms crossed. "So it's gonna be like that huh?" I said. I then picked him up and he let out a small yelp. "Come on you big baby lets go get you some ice cream." I said. Sonic then nuzzled up against my chest and began to purr. 'So cute yet so moody.' I thought.
