Mayumi: The Student Council would like to recommend Ayanokouji Kiyotaka-kun from Class 1-E as the last missing player for the 9SC. And Shiba Tatsuya-kun from the same year and class for the technical staff.
When she announced this, there were various reactions displayed inside the room. All of them were left shocked but the majority were infuriated while a measly amount showed admiration. Some students immediately protested while the others murmured.
Random Course 1 Student (1): But the 2 of them are wee-Course 2 students!
Random Course 1 Student (2): Still they are from the Disciplinary Committee so I guess they have some strength.
Random Course 1 Student (3): Being in the Disciplinary Committee and participating in the Nine Schools Competition are 2 different things.
While they were hurling biased opinions, some were displeased since they thought otherwise, mainly the 2 class 1-A girls and 4 senpais. Since they didn't bother to argue with the majority, they just muttered their complaints to themselves.
Shizuku: They instantly evaluated Tatsuya-san and Kiyotaka-san without even giving them a chance to prove themselves.
Honoka: Yeah, I'd personally would like for Tatsuya-san to take up the job.
(A/N) I just remembered that Honoka and Shizuku uses -san as an honorific so I'll be doing that from now on to capture their personalities well. I'll also be correcting previous mistakes on the previous chapters to align it with their current way of speaking.
Sangria Violet Haired Senpai (Chiyoda): Seriously? Haven't they forgotten who contributed a huge amount when those terrorists attacked the school? Their prides are way too big.
(A/N) I phrased Chiyoda's name like that since in this current time they still don't know Chiyoda's name.
Kirihara: It's a good thing Ayano-ani and Shiba doesn't care much for these trivial things, if they were, they'd be seeing themselves in the same position of the leader of 'Blanche'.
Katsuto: It seems like a great number of you have their misgivings. If you want, why not let them tryout?
Mari: How do you want to test them exactly?
Katsuto: Let's see, For Shiba it would be best if we allow him to adjust an actual CAD. While for Ayanokouji hmm... let's have him participate in a match. Since I'm the one who suggested this, I'm fine with being the experiment.
When Juumonji stated this, a Course 1 Student immediately stood up and went against that idea.
Random Course 1 Student (2): Kaito, what your suggesting is extremely dangerous! If his fine-tuning is average at best then wounds are inevitable
Mayumi: If that's the case, since I'm the one who recommended them, I don't mind being the guinea pig.
