The 3 men descended onto the first floor and headed towards the back of the hotel where there is a large flat area. Shiba was carrying a tablet, Saijou was holding the briefcase containing the CAD prototype, while Ayanokouji brought his competition-issued CAD. When they arrived at their desired place, Shiba briefed Saijou on how to operate the CAD.
Tatsuya: Leo, the way to use this CAD is to use a Convergence-Type sequence. Once you do that, the blade will hypothetically extend. The upper section will separate from the main CAD as if it was levitating in mid-air.
(A/N) If I remember correctly, in the anime, it was referred to as Fortification-Type Magic. But when I checked Mahouka Wiki, Convergence-Type Magic was what it answered so I'll be sticking to the wiki.
Leo: Souka, that explanation was simple enough to digest.
Kiyotaka: It better be. If Erika were here, and knew you didn't understand that, she'll certainly mock you.
