That night, at 2:45 am:
Pankaj was standing in terrace alone. Lost in deep thought. Suddenly he felt someone's present behind him. He turned and find nikhil staring at the stars.
Pankaj: Kiya baat hai nikhil ? Tu iss waqt yaha? Nind nehi araha hai keya?
Nikhil : Nhi. Waise tu bhi toh yaha hai. Tujhe bhi nind nhi araha?
Pankaj : nahi .
Nikhil: Ruhi ke bare me soch raha hai?

Pankaj (now staring at the stars) : Haan yaar. Purvi ne sirf unhe hi nhi haame bhi ek neyi zindegi di hai. Roj woh haame naye se jina sikhati hai. Pata nehi yaar par aaj mujhe lag raha hai ki Ruhi bohot jald hamaare jindegi mai wapas aa rahi hai.
Nikhil : Kiyu? Tujhe achanak se aisa kiyu lagne laga?
Pankaj : Pata nhi yaar pata nhi. Par agar woh wapas aa gyi toh kavin sir aur purvi....
This time nikhil snaps him short : Kuch nehi hoga Kavin sir aur purvi ke rishtey ko. Unke rishtay ki bunyad itna kaccha bhi nhi hai ki kisi ke kbhi aane jaane se toot jaye.
Pankaj : I hope so yr I just hope so...
Next morning purvi woke up in kavin's arms. Her head was on his shoulder. His one hand was around her waist holding her protectively while other hand was resting over her forearm. She couldn't help but staring lovingly at her husband. Her mind went to the day Kavin finally proposed her..
Flashback:
It was another tiring day. CID had solved another case. After finishing paper work all had gone home accept Kavin and purvi. It was raining outside. Purvi just finished her work suddenly feel someone behind her. She whirled and saw Kavin staring at her.
Purvi: Kavin tum yaha?
Kavin: Ghar nhi gyi?
Purvi: Nhi. Woh mujhe kuch kaam tha bas abhi abhi finish kiya.
Kavin : Thik hai. Chalo mein tumhe ghar chor deta hoon.
Half an hour later:
Purvi was sitting in the passenger seat. Kavin was driving. The road was totally deserted. Suddenly kavin stopped the car at the side of the road and turned the radio on. The song janiya from movie haunted 3d was playing on it.
Purvi: kavin tumne achanak yaha car kiyu rok di?
Kavin: Tumse kuch baat karni thi.
Purvi: Ok.
Though she said ok her heart was beating loudly. For last few months she had sensed some change in his behavior. He would listen to her talk attentively. He would even laughed at her silly jokes. He would gaze at her lovingly when he thought she wasn't looking.
Purvi's train of thought broke at the sound of at the sound of the door opening.
Purvi: kavin tum bahar kiyu ja rahe ho? Haam yaha baithkar bhi baat kar saakh te hai. Barish me bhig ke bimar parna hai keya?

Jab Roshni mere jindegi sa chali gyi mai jeena bhul gya tha. Saare sukoon chin gye the mere. Phir Ruhi ayi.
Aapne payar se mujhe zinda kiya par phir woh bhi mujhe chodkar chali gyi. Fate parse mera bishwas uth gya tha. Mujhe laga ki iss zindegi mai mujhe kabhi khushi nhi milegi. Phir tum ayi. Ek tufaan ki tarah mujhe hilake rakh diya. Jo diwar mene khara kiya tha usse tor diya..
(Taking deep breath)
I love you purvi. I can't live without you. You are my life. You are the reason of my existence. Will you marry me?
Purvi couldn't believe her ears. She had always dreamt about this. But this is better than dreams.Her eyes became wattery. She just nodded positively. Sensing her state kavin smiled and slid a beautiful ring on her ring finger. He kissed her finger and got up. Then purvi hugged him tightly. Kavin hugged her back.

Purvi voiced: I love you too kavin.
Kavin (smiling): I know..
