I'm having a conversation with Eureka when my phone rings

I'm having a conversation with Eureka when my phone rings. I look at the caller and see it's my mom so I pick up.

She asks me where I am and starts scolding me to make it back for dinner since I missed dinner two times in a row.

"I'll be there mom. Don't worry" I reply in Russian and I see Eureka's eyes widen a little but decided to not pay any mind to it.

I finish the conversation with my mom and hung up. I look back at Eureka to find her back to me and her head down as if contemplating something.

I move closer to her "Are you okay?"

I think I see her flinch but I can't be sure since she turns around with a smile on her face.

"Splendid" she replies and I nod

I contemplate for a while if I should invite her to have dinner at my place. I'm sure my mom would fawn over her. But then it hit me. If she goes to my house then she'll know my name.

I want to tell her my name so bad, but anyone who knows my name never stays. They hear Ivanov and they either get scared or they just want the clout that comes from knowing me.

And I don't want to be wrong about Eureka. She's very pretty. So much prettier than Ava. Better attitude than Ava. And those brown eyes shows no fear and I want to keep it that way.

I want to get to know her. I want her to get to know me as Damien not as Damien Ivanov, just Damien.

"I think I should go now" she say with unease and it makes me wonder if I did something wrong but instead I nod and lead her out.

"You can come here anytime you want" I say to break the silence as we walk out. My workers bow when they see me. Some look pass me and instead look at Eureka and for some reason that makes me angry.

I walk her to her motorcycle and watch her get on. "I'll see you on Saturday right?"

She stays quiet for a while before replying"of course"

I really hope she comes on Saturday. I can't wait to see her again.

Somewhere in a dark room with nothing but computers and big screens displayed on the wall, there he stood in a white long sleeves shirt with the sleeves folded up and his arms crossed waiting for his men to tell him what he's been waiting to hear for years now.

He's been looking for her. Ever since she left, he never stopped looking. He searched through ever city, every country, ever underground world he could find. Anywhere his satellites would reach, he searched only to come up with nothing.

He even began thinking she was dead. She had to be. He had the best of everything. The best technology, the best men, the best weapons, the best drugs. Everything he had was the best, so why couldn't he find her.

Where could she have run away to that he had searched and still could not find her.

All these years, you would have thought that his obsession with her would no longer be there but it was even stronger than before.

He had a strong urge to bring her back. To have her as his again. To dominate her. To chain her down. To lock her up. To treat her like he wouldn't treat anyone. To worship her. To love her. To marry her.

He wanted her to be his and only his.

A loud ping sounded through the room they were in and a picture of a beautiful girl popped up on the large screen. Hair that looked so beautiful, eyes that looked angry for some reason and lips that looked kissable.

A lot of thoughts went through his mind as he stared at the picture of his lost one, but the one thought that kept repeating over and over was

"I've finally found you"

The sadistic smile on his face looked like it could last a lifetime.
